The pro is the worst aspect of this course
Pace of play was slow. No starter or office personnel was responsible for pairing up groups. Could only finish 9 due to time constraints. Asked the pro for a rain check, and he said it wasn’t raining. He then challenged me on my time management techniques. Will never go back and will recommend to friends to not play here.
First time playing
The greens are a little rough but they are also very changing with the slope and the speed. I got out pretty early around 8:15 and I was done before 11. I enjoyed the round and I will return.

Greens spotty
I feel like I overpaid. The greens are either burning or damaged by fungus. Will be staying away for a bit.

Nice course
Greens were pretty good, speed was difficult to acclimate.
In town to visit my son doing work nearby, it was here ot Quail Ridge. Made a good choice but will definitely give Quail a try next time.
Lakeland is Worth playing and recommend giving this course a shot.
Decent But Challenging
As a first timer out here it was difficult to say the least. birdies are hard to come by if you dont know where to miss. tight fairways, sharp doglegs. small greens. Will try it out again in the future.

Lakeland Golf Club
The new ownership and staff have really made a positive difference since taking over the old Stonebridge. We didn’t used to but now look forward to playing there again soon.
Good Day
Course was in decent condition. The greens were very nice on the fairways where are average condition. Lots of leaves and branches down but it was after a major storm. Overall great experience, I don’t have high expectations for Lakeland and Club but it was a good day.
Needs
The greens are good but the rest of the course needs improvement. It will take money but this course could again be a good golf destination. Even though you don’t want to be in the sand traps it would be nice to find sand in them. Fairways and rough need to be shaped up and cut.
As the Lakeland, Blue Oval and East Memphis communities grow this course could become a treasure. It just needs a bigger investment in it.
Great course and friendly staff
This was my first time at this course and I was greeted by a friendly staff and it made the experience there great from the start. There’s a lot of fun and challenging holes and overall it was a good round. I will definitely be playing there again when I’m in the area
