Lots of potential
My son enjoys playing at Muni, it’s a fun course with a little bit of everything. Greens could definitely be in better shape, but overall a very enjoyable course.
Would not play again
For $40+, This course is not worth it. The fairways and the roof are not cut and all of the greens have about 50% grass. The only reason they are getting two stars is because of the staff friendliness.
If the starter would be worried about pace of play as much as he’s worried about checking receipts then this course would run a lot smoother. Good course for the money spent though
course review
the greens which were really nice a couple of months ago are now horrible. some have as much dirt surfaces as grass. i live just three blocks away and only played here to spend $20 to get the $10 GODAD promo code for future play elsewhere which i did not receive. played again on the 19th and did not receive the promo code again.
Always fun at Muni
Course is in good shape overall. Greens still had some repairing that they are working on, but overall in good shape. Love this course!
Muni
The fairways are well kept and the greens are in great condition.
Nice municipal course
Course in tucked in the middle of town. Fairways are well kept. Greens have transitions and slope. Most of the course is fairly flat, but that is how we play down south. Parking can be a challenge. Club house is behind a school. club house has a grill. Found it to be a great course to unwind on. Back 9 runs along a major rode and there is a net along the side. if you have a long fade this net proves useful to set up for a nice chip on to the green.
Great shape
For a golf course that is almost 100 years old its conditions are in great shape. The greens have never been in better shape. They are rolling medium slow speed. Really enjoyed the day. Thanks to the pro Cris Arceneaux, superintendent and staff.
