Amazing Course
This was our first time playing this course. It blew my mind. Everywhere from the staff, the Pro Shop, the range and especially the condition of the greens. We booked on a Saturday morning and it was $90. You can find midweek deals for $40. This will be our home course from now on.
GREAT course
We played as a group of 5. Course is in magnificent shape. It was hot, but that’s typical this time of year.
Cannot wait to go back!!!
Carter is in EXCELLENT shape!
Greens were fast and true. GREAT course and VERY much worth the drive and money!
Perfect conditions
Even after a recent aeration the greens were as good as anyone around. The few times I found the sand, I found the bunkers to be in good playable condition. The fairways were all consistent and provided a fair challenge. Some spots under the trees need a little rain / watering, and that’s one of the few blemishes you may find.
Saturday play
Pace of play extremely slow Overall course is in great shape. Greens are a little rough as they must have been recently punched

Fun day at Carter Plantation
A group of 12 guys played here as part of our annual golf trip. Very nice , fair layout with really challenging greens. Good conditions in the fairways and around the greens. Minimal rough; some of the tees were a little ragged but not unplayable. The course was full that day but we played in 4:15; bunkers had a lot of footprints and unraked. Not a reflection on the golf course but on some of the people playing! We stayed in the villas on location and they were fabulous ! Huge clean and comfortable rooms. Walked 5 minutes to the grill for dinner.
GolfNow wrong greenfee
My computer jumped to the wrong day and when the operator corrected the day she said fee was the same. I was charged full retail. GolfNow owes me the difference.
Excellent value
5somes apparently are allowed on course and they held up the pace. The group in front of us had 1 to 2 hole(s) opened ahead of them.
