I booked without knowing the driving range was closed on Monday.Also not knowing the front 9 was closed due to areation..If I would have known about this info a head of time,would have made other choices. Not what I was expecting
Poor Maintenance
Just played this course for a twilight round. Greens were slow and had a lots of rough spots. Fairways were patchy with really dry spots and other areas of really soggy spots. The grass was also extremely long in parts of the fairway that were at least green. Was not a fan and will most likely never play here again.
Notorious around town for terrible pace of play
Red Tail is deceptively hard, with lots of tight fairways and hazards in play. I like the course but the pace of play is complete garbage every time I play, always takes way longer then it should.
5 hours and 15 minutes to play 18. Slowest pace of play in the metro area.
Really, best ball?
For some reason a group of 6 players were allowed to play their best ball game during late morning early afternoon play.
Play was slowed down to a newer crawl on a 90 degrees day.
On the other hand, the greens were just remarkable, smooth and true rolling. Overall this was a remarkable day on a gorgeous course. I’ll be back thanks in part to the apologies of the staff for our pace of play.

Great day, did 18 holes walking. Nothing to complain about regarding the course
Rough right now.
It isa little rough right now conditions wise. We've had alot of rain so I can understand. Played a lot of courses that are in way better shape recently. OGC, Royal Oaks, Elk Ridge, Fairway Village, even Heron lakes. But with all the sun coming up. I'm sure the course will be in shape into time!
Very wet in places
It hasn't rained in a few days, but there were areas of the course that were extremly sloppy
I found a few balls drilled into the muddy turf, and almost lost mine. But after a few minutes and 6 eyes balls it was found.
Not sure if the wet areas weres were caused by the irrigation, because there were areas that were dry as could be
Amazing course
The course is in very good condition and very good to play
Love this course
It’s my home spot hands down for a public course it’s challenging
Just an average course
Not well maintained course, many soggy areas not well drained.
Pricey for average course
Not a well maintained course. Some areas are still muddy and soggy, so be careful where you step in, it’s just an average course for the price
