Greens are undulating and challenging. You get a lot of variety of shots around. I could play here regularly and enjoy it each time...it has a classic appeal to it. Certainly worth a visit.

The course was in terrific shape and very challenging. I would recommend it to anyone.

What a beautiful Course! Tough but fair. I would rate it higher than the other Northfield course. It was men's day but most moved right along. Our group is sometimes slow because we are all bogey golfers or higher and it was new to us, but you coulod usually find your ball, we didn't spend all day looking. I hope to golf it again very soon!

First time at this course. Played with my son who is a 13 handicap, I am a 22. Played the blue tees so my son could get a good workout. Course is very beautiful. Customer service is some of the best I have seen, especially the pro shop staff. Got called in due to lightening but was able to get back out. With the exception of a slow 2 couple foursome, we played very fast. We moved around the foursome and were behind a twosome that played pretty fast. Interesting greens, not hard but needed to be paid attention to in order have a good put. Course is in beautiful condition and reminds me of many of the upper northern Minnesota Courses in some areas.

I got a great deal on Golfnow for Northfield and have always wanted to try the course so I jumped at it. I later found out that the scheduling at this course is poor at best. Might have been a one time thing but non the less it was my experience. I had a 430 tee time and we found out that they had womans league starting on the front and back at 6pm so we got stuck in the middle of the womans leeague on the back nine. There was also a high school tourney going on and there was all kinds of fans walking all over the course while we were trying to play. Also on this course, it seems that people park on the road near the back of the course and jump on all the time so we had people jumping in all over the palce. it was a mess, at times, there were 4 groups on one hole. don't think I will ever go back

it was a cooler and windy day yet had a very good time. The course is fun and got teamed with 3 great guys. good staff and was slower than usual i was told because of a college tourny finishing up. love to play it again.

Interesting layout with a lot of variety. We enjoyed the course tremendously, will definitely play again soon. Great shape considering the Winter we just suffered in Minnesota.

this is one of my favorite golf courses in the twin cities area. You have a wonderfully maintained gold course - fairways, bunkers, and greens are all in wonderful shape. The layout is challenging but fair. I think anyone would enjoy this co urse, no matter what handicap they are. A real treat.

We played on a cool fall day. The greens putted well for this time of year and were quite fast, especially for late season. The greens have a fair amount of slope and were extremely quick on downhill putts.

The bunkers were as good as any I have played and I sampled them generously throughout the round.

This course is a lot of fun as it challenges you so many ways. You must be able to select right clubs and create optimal shots. it is easy to have big numbers if you are not careful, because trees and water guard the fairways and the greens strategically. The course is maintained exceptionally well; the greens are often undulating, and they are not easy to read. In all, this course is fair and great for low-handicappers in particular. Regular green fees can be pricey, but it is worth the money. If you are willing to spend a fortune at the Legends or at Mystic, then try this course first for a lower green fee. You will not be disappointed.

Got a great deal on golf now. Course is a lot of fun. Some holes with open tee shots some very tree lined. But all holes are fair and give enough room. Greens were in great shape and are tough! Don't be above the hole! Definitely will be going back!

I have played all around the area and I would rank this course at the top.

Played here before. Greens a little slower than usual but day was damp and misty and aeration plugs not yet fully healed.
Still, a great couse and quite challenging. Not long but greens very undulating and well bunkered.

The course was in wonderful shape, and the staff was extremely friendly. Worth the drive. The course offers different challenges depending on the hole and the different tees you decide to play.

Well maintained course. Kind of classic golf course look. Nice layout with plenty of tree lined fairways and some water holes. It's a little nicer than Gross National in Minneapolis. I would play it once a year and I play maybe 30-40 rounds a year.

This is a great course. Condition was excellent except greens had been mini plugged and sanded also very fuzzy the day we played. Still very enjoyable and scenic. Very challenging, course knowledge is big. Carry distance off tee is needed at a couple holes is my only complaint.

course was in good shape almost all holes tree lined and well defined. greens were healthy running about 7.5 on the stip. good value for the money, only drawback was no driving range.
overall great layout and good shape. definitely will go back for the right price.

This course was great. Good lay out and for 45 bucks you can't beat the value. Greens were a little inconsistent in speed and a little beat up but I guess they had an outing the day before and people didn't know how to fix ball marks. Staff there was friendly and very helpful.
