Pass Christian Isles Golf Club
About
One of the oldest golf courses on the Gulf Coast, the Pass Christian Isles Golf Club is known for having very small greens, as were most courses designed in the early 1900s. It also has tree-lined fairways and strategically positioned water hazards. Water comes into play on six of the holes, which adds to the beauty of the layout.
Originally designed by Tom Bendelow in 1914, Pass Christian Isles Golf Club has undergone two major renovations (when it re-opened in 1952 and again in 2004), with painstaking efforts made to retain its turn-of-the-century charm. The 18-hole, par-72 course, measures 6,396 yards from the longest tees. The course rating is 70.1, with a slope rating of 124.
The golf course is rated one of the top 10 courses in South Mississippi. The 18th hole has been ranked one of the hardest holes in the state as well as the state's hardest finishing hole.

Good value fun course to play
This course is a good value. Course is a good layout for beginners fairways are wide although greens are a little small.
Price was right
Course is in a low area probably prone to flooding. Layout is fine but grass this time of year is dead and dormant. Hopefully expect better conditions in spring/summer. Greens slow and bumpy. They had a greenish color but they probably put green food color on them. Lots of bare lies in fairway. Gas carts, no GPS. Nice yardage book. Could not find course in GHIN. Price was good to get out and play.
Have low expectations if you go
For 50+ dollars and an added 18$ so my wife could ride along, it was WAY overpriced. Fairways have little to no grass and the greens, well, just give yourself an auto 2-putt when you get there because they are not going to roll true. The layout and design of the course is actually nice, but they are miles away from good conditions. Just temper expectations and have a plan to work on a part of your game if you go (Except putting).
Cold Day of golf
It was fantastic. It’s winter but course is in very good condition! The guy in clubhouse was very friendly and helpful. They Always have friendly people there.
It keeps getting better!
Since discovering this course my friends and I have watched how much care is going into making it better. The greens have been given great attention. The tee boxes are much improved, and it looks as though a pro shop is in the works. I look forward to our next round of golf!
First Time
This course was very well maintained. Pace of play was just right. Course layout was very good. Will definitely be playing there again soon
Goat ranch
Not a great course at all. The holes are fairly straight which makes every hole feel the same as the one before. The greens are small and not very receptive. There was no shortage of gnats and mosquitoes!
Easy to play
Fun course. Pretty average. Some greens need love but better than most in Slidell area staff easy to talk to. priced correctly
