Pines at Diamondhead Country Club

About
The Pines at Diamondhead Country Club was the first of two 18-hole golf courses built on the property. The semi-private course opened in 1969.
Designed by Earl Stone, the Pines measures 6,817 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 134 and a 73.5 USGA rating. The golf course features four sets of tees for different skill levels.
The major challenges for both courses are their tree-lined fairways. The Pines Course has well-placed bunkers and water that comes into play on many holes.

Love it, nice
Well managed and maintained. Probably one of the best courses on the coast.
Great Play
First time traveling to Diamondhead Country Club. I played the Pines which was in great shape for it being December 11th! The greens were lighting but made it interesting for sure. There was a 4 some in front of us but no one in front of them. Took us 4:30 to play only problem.
What a course
This course was well worth the fee. Very well maintained and beautiful layout.
Great course with a variety of challenges
First time playing at this course and had a great outing. Didn’t score as well as I would I like but still enjoyed the round. Overall tees and fairways were in fantastic but the greens lacked much break due to recent aeration and sanding. I will definitely play again sooner than later.
Suprised
First time playing this course.
Not as beautiful as the pictures.
The layout is good but the course was ok.
Greens were firm to hard with sand on them.
I 3 putted three times and couldn't figure the greens out until back nine.
Shot 78 with 41 on the front and 37 on the back
First timer
First time playing this course hole layout was good they were busy but pace of play was fine got a good deal on golf now for a senior some holes I was just putting for par but fun course would definitely recommend
Always a good go to option from NOLA
I’ve been playing Diamondhead on and off for over 2 yrs now and am never disappointed (unless they have punched the greens). Nice staff. Good food and drink options for apre golf. Easy layout despite the houses surrounding the course (not too close). I typically play the Pines but also really enjoy Cardinal and like having the 2 options. Greens this weekend were in awesome shape! Great job superintendent and greens crew!
Cardinal course
Beautiful course in great condition. Staff was friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to play again !
Beautiful course
We played the cardinal course. The greens were very fast but overall a very beautiful and well kept course. The staff was also very friendly and we ran into some deer on a couple of the holes in the middle of the day. Will be back in the future.
SLOWWWWWW
First i want to say, as a first timer playing the course, i thought the staff were nice and generally welcoming. The course was in good condition. The grass was dormant but well maintained. The bunkering was super nice and well placed. The greens WERE AMAZING! The track meanders through what appears to be a retirement community. That being said...the pace of play was horrendous. I quit after 12 holes bc i literally couldnt take it anymore. Im a patient person.. I drove all the way from new orleans so i really wanted to finish. It took 3 hours to play one nine. Other than that...a decent to ok track with fantastic green complexes. Cheers.
