Nestled at the base of the Superstition Mountains, Mountainbrook Golf Club offers a player-friendly course with beautiful views of mountains and desert hills. Given its location, the golf course is mostly flat, making it a nice walk. The layout combines that of a desert course and a mountain course for an interesting variety of holes and challenges. The fairways are relatively wide and some are lined with trees and the fairly large greens are sloped and fast. Sand bunkers are situated throughout the course and two lakes create water hazards that come into play on the back nine. Mountainbrook Golf Club's signature hole is the par-5 16th, which has a dogleg left fairway and a green that is well guarded by bunkers and mounding.

Pretty nice
Easy to find. Easy check in. Carts can go to car. Water buckets for towels. Sand on carts and ice chests. Tees used but cared for. Fairways pretty nice. Roughs with dried grass and some desert. Greens with a fair amount of motion always. Bunkers generally with sparse sand. Played in just over 4. Getting fairly costly

Would love to give a higher rating, because the course is great!
Price increase is very disappointing as we were hoping to be able to afford to play here weekly.
Seven minute tee times don’t work well for pace of play, especially without a ranger. It’s also disappointing to have a cart curfew when you have one hole to play and there’s still enough daylight.
Would love to play here more! Course is fun and the staff is friendly.
