We were constantly pushed. We played in 4 hours, which was the requirement.

More signage is needed to find the next hole.

Last played here about 4 years ago and the Course conditions have improved. Big receptive undulating greens make it important to be strategic on your approaches or the dreaded three putt can bite ya. If you’re not familiar with the layout pay close attention to the scorecard to see where the hidden water hazards loom. No GPS to help. Course ops could use some work.

1. No drinking water available on the course.

2. The carts are in rough shape. That would be fine if they were clean, but dirt/dust was left unwashed and garbage remained from the previous player.

I will say the range was courteous enough as he asked if a couple of other employees could skip around us.

Course in the best shape in years. Staff always friendly and accommodating, Great value for the money.

Challenging for a high handicapper, but not too much. Greens pretty fast and hard to hold. Fairways and greens in good shape.

I had not played here since around 2012 or so and I recalled the course was on the low-end back then. Chose to play now as it was close by. I was pleasantly surprised by the course conditions--fairways, greens and rough were all well taken care of with the greens being somewhat fast and firm. The 'off fairway' areas were all desert dirt and scrub--but that does not bother me as it made it easier to find errant tee shots. Course layout is very good with a mix of long and short holes. Nice practice area, including a chipping/sand trap practice green and well manicured hitting area on the driving range (mats were there but were not in use--yay! I now have played 3 times in the past two weeks and will return. Good value and very good shape. Pace of play was a little slow last round but there are rangers present and the starter did warn to keep up with the group in front. Looking forward to playing again.

Apache Creek is in good shape and well maintained. This is not a "bucket list Scottsdale course", but it is a fun little track that punches above its price point.

Kudos to the course staff and greenskeepers. Fairways and roughs were well trimmed, and the greens were smooth and rolled true. Unfortunately, I also spent time in the desert and that was also "playable".

If you want an affordable round at an unpretentious course, give Apache Creek a try.

Big delay at the 1st tee, reason never explained. 1245 tee time turned into 130.

1245 had a chance to finish before dark, 130 not so much. Played 9 holes and left, probably won't be back. Pretty expensive 9 hole round.
