About
Raspberry Falls Golf & Hunt Club offers the traditional links course reminiscent of those found in the British Isles, situated amidst Virginia's horse country. The club gets its name from the land's former use, a raspberry field. The scenic terrain overlooks to Catoctin Mountains and there are still a few raspberry bushes dotting the course. By far the layout's most formidable challenges come from the deep, stacked pot bunkers that make it truly feel like a classic Scottish golf course. There are also water hazards on a few holes. The course's signature is the par-4 third hole, which is long but plays downhill all the way. The 10th hole, another par 4, is one of the toughest. The landing area is generous off the tee but there is a creek and pond to the left and fairway bunkers on the right.

Unlucky
Played here for my first time and let’s just say the views are AMAZING. The fairways were perfect, rough was soft! Some tee boxes were in rough shape but it was only about 5/18 that were rough. I was super unlucky with the greens. They were airated and they sanded all of them before I teed off. Just bad timing, I’m sure they are really great otherwise. I went for the views and they didn’t disappoint, great golf was just a bonus! Definitely play here to impress friends!
Glad I Finally Came Back
I had stayed away from Raspberry Falls for many years due primary to awful reviews of course conditions, slow pace of play and poor value. ALOT has changed. Fairways, greens and bunkers in great shape and an early tee time on a Sunday resulted in a sub four hour round. Very good layout and variety of shots. Friendly staff and well run operation, from pro shop to starter and beverage cart. Only nit was that the practice range was a bit beat up, but that's about it. Looking forward to going back!
Great Course Condition & Great Staff
The course condition was perfect. Well pace of play, friendly staff and wonderful atmosphere!!
Excellent Course
Wow!!! What a great course. Excellent fairways and greens. I found the back nine to be more challenging. High recommend this course and the staff was outstanding!!! Wait until you tee off on Hole 18,

Great course and a challenging layout. Overall in really good shape, but some of the bunkers in less than great shape and inconsistent sand. The tall grass beyond the rough was punishing, so keep it closer to the fairways. I left a few shots out there and will be back to collect. Staff was super nice and helpful. Thanks.
Brutal pace of play!
Raspberry has always been one of my favorite courses, however, this is the first time playing it this year. It seems like they are not managing the pace at which people go out, or managing the pace of people on the course, which lead to a brutal pace of play, 2:50 pace for the front 9 alone!
Come on guys, you can do better....I hope! Course was in decent shape, but the pace of play really puts a damper on the round
Immaculate course - bit expensive, but worth it once in a while
The course is worth it's price, but its too expensive to play on a recurring basis. It's a great course to play once or twice a summer. Well taken care of fairways, greens and teeboxes. Great pace of play, and great food (underrated amenity)
