Needs major overhaul
Tee boxes are dirt.. fairways are dirt.. bunkers are horrible.. greens are torn up carpets. Normal price $60 is laughable, would never play there if it wasn’t for the Golf Now hot deals.
Great staff, course needs some work.
Greens are in rough condition, cart path is falling apart. Staff is great and food is good.
Nice layout
Cart path areas are in need of repair. And some washed out areas but overall in good shape.
Cart paths
I have played golf all over the United States. These are the worse cart paths I have ever seen anywhere. Would never consider playing a course in that condition again. Spend a few dollars to avoid the law suits that are sure to be coming.
Course needs some work
We're snowbirds and have played timber Creek over the years since we've been coming down south. The course needs a lot of work....filling in a lot of holes and ruts ...cart paths etc. Some of the greens were in bad shape. Some fairways needed to have the leaves removed...there were so many leaves you couldn't see where your ball was. The brakes on the carts didn't work. Had to swap out the cart after the first nine. Couldn't start on time as we had to wait for a cart ...not enough available due to a morning event. Won't be back until things are fixed
Good value
Winter conditions- meh. Fairways littered with leaves. Greens lacking grass. Having said that, overall a good day. Pro shop was as friendly as I've experienced along the golf coast including high end courses like craft farms and Peninsula. I'd leave negative feedback for their pro shop and starter staff (Craft Farms). This was the first time playing Timber Creek, and for the money I'll come back. If you're used to a muni course in other cities this will be good for you. If you are used to higher end resort courses don't set your expectations to high and you'll have fun. But, everyone has an opinion and...
Never again
I played this course about a year ago and it was in terrible condition but I thought I would give it another try. It's hard to believe but I think it's in a worship than it was last year. This course needs major renovations the best thing they could do is shut it down for a year and completely redo the course and cart paths.
Winter conditions
As expected this time of year...however, the greens are the poorest I've seen anywhere around. Am sure they'll come back with warmer weather, but can't recommend them right now.
Nice hilly treed golf course
First time to play.at Timbercreek. Warmly greeted in golf shop. Difficult to judge overall course conditions during dormant time of the year. Some greens have bare spots and cart paths are damaged in some areas. Liked course as I played Magnolia and Dogwood. Will return for future play.
Always fun here course condition is just average typical of January Cart paths are awful but you know that when you come
What happened?
Thought this course was one of the better kept in the area. It seems like they have done nothing in quite some time. The greens were poor, some damaged and most had no grass . Traps are terrible with no sand no rakes loaded with leaves. Cart paths are a disaster with lots of busted up cement.
Everything’ about staff and facilities are excellent. Just wish they would put that much effort into the course.
Disappointed
Love the course and area
Love the course but it needs a lot of work,. Staff was exceptional and friendly
