Magnolia/Dogwood at TimberCreek Golf Club

I’ve always liked this course as the layout for all three nines are great. Having three nines keeps it from being monotonous. That said, the greens are rarely in good shape compared to others in the area. It seems to me the greens lack proper aeration and chemical use to make them better. The day we played we were stuck behind “the regular senior group”.. Lucky for us there were only eight this day, so said the starter. Usually there’s twenty plus. Lucky??? I’m never in a hurry to finish but there’s no rhythm in a five hour round. Especially watching a group mill around every shot like it’s a four ball tournament. The facility and the staff were super. Although my to go sandwich at the turn came out as a wrap. The waitress insisted I let her correct it but I didn’t have another fifteen minutes for them to handle it.. I will always play it once in a while at a discount. But never at full asking rate or more than maybe once a quarter. There’s too many other courses better kept at the same or lower rates.

Course could use a little work but overall it was very nice. The staff was very professional and nice. Overall we had a great time. Definitely recommend this course for a casual game of golf.

Some fairways thin, greens newly sanded and rolled

The course was crowded that morning and staff was not prepared. We paid over $50 for the round and no one said anything about fresh sand on the greens and not mowed.

The little help was the exact opposite of the situation in the grill. Had a nice lunch and plenty of staff.

Course was in good shape and pace of play was really good. We enjoyed our round with a friend. Saw a deer as well

I got a last minute tee time at the wrong course and I would love a. Refund cause I’m annoyed

I loved the course layout. The greens though were inconsistent and somewhat slow

Improved condition since last played. Greens look thin and dry but hold well and putt true. Fairways ok. Good pace of play.

I have played Timbercreek over the years and this is the worst shape I’ve seen the Magnolia nine .

Some of the holes hard get through Cart path issues …. washing away or no cart path .. The ruff was cut too tall 5 inch Burmuda could not find balls foot off fairways

The green was in terrible shape was sanded and not much grass on them was not told of the issues of the greens’ :) I love the lay out but will only play the dogwood and Pines Until they work do something to the Magnolia

Poorly kept for the price. Greens okay shape, fairways fair shape, rough horrible shape weeds and limbs everywhere

I played this course back in May and thought it was nice. Went today I don't think I'll ever go back. Started on dogwood. Fairways on dogwood were very bad! Greens weren't in good shape either. Sand traps weren't taken care of either. Never again!!!!

The only complaint I had was lack of available water. There were two containers that did not have any water. They did not even have a water container. There is a restroom on each course but the water fountain barely

Had any pressure. We had to get water from the sink. We did see the cart girl once. With the hot weather there needs to be water available.

Course was poorly maintained. Especially to be in such a nice neighborhood. Fairways were like a first cut of rough. Tee box grass came three quarters up the tee. Cart paths should have just been a dirt road. Bunkers had as much grass and gravel as sand. Want be back. Too many good courses in the area for cheaper prices to give them another chance.

The course has been in great shape all year. The only drawback are the bunkers. I think they plan to redo them in the off-season. Otherwise, the fairways and greens have been great. Wonderful place to play.
