Friendly and accommodating staff
I played one hole and then came the storms. Roper told me to come back in a few hours and he would try and get me out to play the rest of my round. I came back and was able to play the other 17. Did t play my best but the staff were great. The course was in decent shape after the heavy rain. I was visiting the area coming from PA. I would play it again and hopefully avoid the storms.
Great Course
The course was in great condition. Greens were fast and true.. This time of year it is very hot, but enough trees to give shade in spots..
Wonderful experience
This was a pleasant surprise. We decided to play here on a raod trip north and found a real gem of a course. Very playable, lined with mature trees and well maintained.
Lagoon Park Golf Course Review
This course has a nice layout. It’s challenging. I am an 11 handicap and I played from the white tees. It’s a good challenge.
Course conditions were good considering it rained the past four straight days. Greens are well maintained.
Good course to walk. It can be slow at times but this is a good course to play. You will use all of the clubs in your bag.
Great for Walking
Good course to walk. Challenging. Make sure you can play from bunkers.
Awesome greens
Great value and great course. Found as a replacement for RTJ as they were full. Well worth the $ and super nice folks. Greens are very, very good and slick. Fairways are fine and the rough is spotty with lot of hard- pan/tree roots etc...
I would play again for sure.
Just another municipal course
There is a range, chipping green and bunker, in addition to the traditional putting green.
The layout is fairly straightforward; no severe doglegs. Greens are fairly large and having played this Course before; straight putts are few and far between. The sand is inconsistent; one bunker loose and next packed solid. Otherwise stay on the Fairway.
A typical municipal course
The Course was typical of most municipal courses. Straightforward layout; no severe doglegs. There were traps; some in the fairways. How much sand was often the question; more in this one and almost none in the next. The greens all had subtle breaks but all rolled true. The greens were also very very firm. I had difficulty in finding my ball marks from lofted wedges. Oh and most of those shots rolled long if not off the green. The Course does have a practice range and green complete with sand bunker.
Course Conditions
Course was in good condition. Greens were really fast. A lot of tree work had been done all over course, which will help a lot, come next Spring. Dead trees were also removed, that needed cut down. Even with all the work , it was clean. Tee boxes and greens were blowed off , and everything was great.
