Pace of play
Teed off @ 11 am finished at 4:50 pm
Waited on every hole, for myself who enjoyed playing at a good pace makes for a miserable day.
Only seen the beverage cart twice in that 5. 5 plus hours on the course.
Nice course
Course is a great course. They are currently working on the bunkers on the front 9. Course play was extremely slow, took around 5 hours for a foursome that had a scratch player and 3 that shoot in the 90’s. Some holes had a backup of 2-3 groups waiting to tee off.
Pace of play
The course is amazing. The locals there aren’t good golfers. They allow 5 to play and most of them are absolutely horrible at golf. Get a Marshall and split the bad golfers up. I had to quit after 14 holes because we had 4 groups backed up on one hole because the local 5 some had 4 in the woods. Hire people or charge less
Never Disappoints
I have played this course many times. I live almost 2 hours away, but the drive is always worth it. Course was in good condition, as always. From the clubhouse to the starter, everyone was nice and professional. Heavy play this particular day, but didn’t have to wait hardly at all, and my foursome finished just under 4 hours. Highly recommend this course.
Beautiful Course
Absolutely awesome course with extremely friendly staff. The course reward good shots and strategic course management. The large greens do not invite aggressive pin hunting. Conservative middle of the green approach shots are a must.
A must play on the coast
Drove over from Nola and course did not disappoint.Excellent course layout and conditions . People were friendly . Will def be going back ASAP.
Very nice
Very nice would recommend
High expectations met
Even though the course was wet from a week of rain it was still in great shape. A beautiful course. Some of the greens have significant undulation. Very nice clubhouse and great bar. Loved it and will definitely return.
Wet (to be expected) but slow (not expected)
The hurricane 3 weeks ago followed by less than ideal drying conditions made the course soggy but that was to be expected as all course in the area are currently plagued by wetness. What was not expected was the slow slow play! On one par five there were 4 groups on the hole! Lots of waiting due to 64 man tournament that went off at the start of the day. Wish I had known! I wish there was a way of knowing ahead of time!
