About
The Links at Lake Erie is one of southeastern Michigan's most popular public golf courses. The course sprawls across gently rolling terrain that is mostly open though there are a few trees scattered throughout. Without any residences near the golf course to worry about, the spacious layout provides plenty of room off the tees and around the green complexes. The greens are often receptive to bump-and-run pitches and approaches but their subtle contours can be tricky as well. The golf course has a classic Scottish links feel with mounding separating the fairways and high grasses throughout. There are 31 strategically placed bunkers and water hazards come into play on 11 holes. The Links at Lake Erie is a fair test but overall it's player friendly enough for mid to high handicappers and even gentle enough for beginners.

Great course at a great price
I played on Sunday afternoon. It was not crowed and the pace of play was very good. The course was in pretty good condition. The greens were in very good shape except for some not repairing their ball marks. I would highly recommend this course.
A fun and interesting challenge
This is a fun but tough course! I shot a few of my best rounds here recently! The layout is comparable to an Arthur hills course! Great place to play for the price!

Nice link style course with a couple of traditional holes mixed in.was in good.shape.

Management Issues
This is a beautifully designed course that could have the potential to be a really great golf course. The upkeep of the couse is awful though. The greens were sandy, the rough was extremelly easy to play out of and the bugs were absolutely terrible. The cart I had kept bogging down during my round not to mention the spider web up in the corner next to the hole which Im guessing was from a ball. I probably wont go back if I giving money to people who don't care about the quality of an experience.
Great Course
Beautiful course. Pace of play was fine, conditions were wonderful. The only thing that was rather irritating was the amount of fish flies present.
Decent links style course.
Had fun on this course and would play there again. The way it's set up is pretty forgiving. You need a cart because some holes are spaced out pretty far.
Great Value, Nice Track
Visiting from Arizona and have played here in the past. The course has that "links" look on many, not all, holes. Enjoyable round with the course in nice shape. Greens were nice pace and consistant although a few were a bit bare in spots but still very playable. Greens are large on many hols making it easier to hit them but making for a challenging two putt if you err far from hole. I three jacked 9 and 18 because I hit the green but was 40'+ from the hole. Range balls were included, a nice touch, and made for a good warm up. I will be back on a future "Pure Michigan" trip.
slow play
They need a Ranger, the pace was very very very slow, because there were people out that was just learning and was not picking up after 10-15 shots and no Ranger to tell them otherwise. that was a long long long round of golf
Well worth it
The cost of this deal was well worth it! Would definitely play it again!
Very nice track and staff
Played behind a couple older gentlemen and at one time had to talk to them because they kept taking all the birdies and eagles. Had a great little conversation, they showed their scorecard as proof that it wasn't them...LOL. I will definitely be back to play this course. The gentlemen I paired up with were cool also.
Pricey for condition
The greens were in horrible shape for the beginning of the season. It appeared that a fungus was present on most of them. I am hoping that the course is working on this. The fairways and rough were also cut very uneven. They need to either sharpen their blades or slow down their mowers. The course layout is challenging and it could be a great track if they take better care.
Very Enjoyable
Starts with a warm greeting in the clubhouse, and then just got better. Not the longest of courses, but a fair test.

Worth the price
Greens were smooth and quick. Fairways had some brown spots from too much rain. A flat mostly wide open course with a few ponds to keep your focus. Find a Hot Deal and go. It's worth it.
Great layout, alot of fun.
Large high quality greens that are tough to read. Really enjoyed this track. Little bit of a drive for the tri-county area but the value makes it worth it. Besides, it sits right off I75 so it dosn't take as long as you might think to get there. The only downside is we need to get down there and play more so they have the resources to spend a little more time on the care of the greens.

Simple layout
The fairways needs attention, the Guy at the pro shop said they had too much rain and they had to pump water from the course to driving range. That's why the range was closed. But all the water hazard seems low on water??? lot of brown spots on the fairway.
Real nice track
First time played, will go back for sure. Condition of course was super. Not the longest course but demands a little thought on tee shots. Water is lurking on almost every hole. Great value through Golf Now.

Nice layout, water comes into play on 12 holes... good test from the tips, especially in windy conditions....
