Great Mountain Course
This was a great mountain course in very good condition. Some narrow fairways. Beautiful scenery. Greens were slower than normal. Fun to play!
LOVE this course
The staff are always friendly and helpful. This is one of our favorite golf courses to play. Set is a beautiful area surrounded by majestic trees and mountains. This gem of a course is a hidden treasure.
A gem in the Wilderness
Somewhat tough layout but very well maintained. Very well worth the time to get there. Would be great if Highlander and Leavenworth would come close to matching the quality for the cost.Too bad they don't - they'd get a lot more business for sure.
Friendly folks
Karen is awesome and everyone one I meet and play with from the area are great
Love this place!
My review
Play this course and skip Leavenworth Golf Club.
1) Layout is great! Plays longer than 5,800 yards from the tips.
2) Pristine condition.
3) Half the price of Leavenworth GC, which has a horrible layout!
Enjoy!
Wonderful Course!
Beautiful, scenic course hidden in the woods next to Lake Wenatchee. Plenty of variety between the different holes. Some very wide open and easy and some very challenging. They also rent condos here, so perfect for a weekend or family vacation of golf!
Hidden gem
Very scenic course. Good value for the money. Only negative would be there are a couple of holes where knowing distance to water or end of fairway should affect club choice.
Inexpensive and quite a surprise
We grabbed one of the heavily discounted times on Golf Now and had low expectations. Was pleasantly surprised at quality of course. Only drawback is no restaurant or bar facility on site.
peaceful short course
The staff are very accommodating and the course is in pretty good condition. This day, Saturday, there was a frost delay, that contributed to more than normal congestion, plus there were two wedding parties that "merged" 6 & 7 golfers together. As a single, they leery me play through, so my round didn't incur any delay.
BSower
The course is in the best condition, much better than years past, and especially good for this time of year. Gem!
A treasure
Beautiful scenery, well tended, gorgeous course. We almost had the course to ourselves. This is a gem well worth playing!
Northern Version of Suncadia
Course is now in great shape. Greens are good, a bit slow. This course is a great challenge. Par 5's all about risk reward. Par 3's long but fair. This is not a Seattle golf course, it is a mountain course with all the challenges of multiple elevations, each hole is an individual challenge. Worth the drive ! !
fn
Worth the trip....
I was a little worried about the recent forest fires nearby, but they did not get to close to the course. The course was a good shape, and the pace of play was great (not many people on the course- I think others were scared off by the nearby fires).
If you can, go play this course as they could use the business.
Course is back
I played here and wrote a review 6/20/2014 and at that time the winter beat the course up. I am happy to say the course has come back and is in great playing shape. Except hole 8 which is still closed. Karen in the pro shop was very professional and handled the computer down and a huge crowd very well. I have always loved playing here and very pleased the course has recovered.
Great Value, Great Course!!!
Outstanding, a gem in the Washington Cascades, great conditions, great people, beautiful setting
