South Jersey Gem
This is my favorite South Jersey golf course. Great conditioning and unmatched design. Don't neglect your sand practice. This is a true test and you'll need every club in your bag. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Allow extra time for an unforgettable experience. If you love beautiful views and challenging golf, this place is Nirvana.
Nice track
All in all a very nice course. Can be challenging at times but fair. Fairways and greens in good shape. If your shots stray to either side of the fairways, you may get uneven stances, which require additional thought on how to play the shot. Currently (May 2024) they have replanted grass sod around some of the traps near greens so "ground under repair" rules. Hopefully the sod will come in good. Not sure its worth the premium price during the summer season, but if you can get a deal, its worth playing.
System am error
I use GN app often , disappointed , wrong date got booked . I hate when you choose a date and then the system refers back to the date you are on.
Got to course to be disappointed that it was booked to the date day before . Unable to play
Pretty good
Fun course, good layout. It was cart path only as there had been a ton of rain. Outdoor grill with burgers and dogs was a nice surprise at the turn. A no frills spot but an enjoyable experience.
Great course
This is a very challenging course, but a lot of fun. It beat me up, but it was worth it. I would definitely go back and I plan to.
Challenging
Shore gate is one of the most challenging course for your game in south Jersey. Rolling greens and fairway with 209 bunkers. But you must play tee to your handicap or you will not enjoy your round.
Decent shape for time of year
Given the time of year, course was in good shape. Geens were better than most other courses. Great layout.
Unnecessary hazard
I have played this course a few times the layout is very challenging and very pleasing. However, the most hazardous thing about this course was a staff member. He was rude condescending and got my round off to a terrible start. I will be taking this course off my list.
A lot of bunkers so challenging unless you are precise, can’t blame the course there. Caught good weather so well worth the money.
