About
The Harbor Pines Golf Club is a public facility that boasts an 18-hole, four-star golf course with subtle, breaking greens that provide a challenge for all golfers. The holes are very private and the fairways are wide and open.
The environment friendly course is a local favorite and is considered among women to be one of the best courses for women to play on. The beautiful natural landscape with seventeen acres of water and 520 acres of forestry has even been certified as an National Audubon Sanctuary. The relatively flat course does offer challenges for experienced golfers but it will not be too difficult for intermediate or beginning golfers. Both the 16th and 17th holes are difficult par-4's and the course has various hazards scattered throughout.

This course is a very nice course but not at this time
Just aerated greens and fairways on back and the front last week

Very disappointed that we were not notified that the course was undergoing aeration and we would only be allowed to play the front nine. The restaurant and bar was closed so there was no encore amenities. Granted we’ve had a rough winter, but the course is in terrible shape, and the greens were unplayable. Not happy that when I booked on GolfNow was not informed that the back line was closed. in addition the online course bathrooms were locked, which is totally unacceptable.
Greens aerified
Course was busy being one of the nicer days early in the season, greens were bumpy from being plugged recently, needs time for greens to heal and grow back in, staff is very friendly.
Stay away
Played today and I’ve played here only a handful of times this course has potential. The greens were absolutely terrible maybe the worst I’ve ever played on. They looked like it aerated within the last few weeks which is way to late holes barley filled with sand and it looked like the machine dragged on every green the ball couldn’t stay straight if it tried. Big divots every couple itches next to the aeration holes. Hope they can turn it around. I feel bad for members
Terrible conditions
Greens were punched & there was no notice of it when booking. There were literally piles of sand sitting on multiple greens. Greens were still being rolled at 11:15 & maintenance staff had no sense of urgency for the pace of play. Use to love this course, but it’s taking a backseat for the price you pay.
Very pretty course
Almost every hole is dead straight very simple. Greens were incredibly fast which I enjoyed but my partner did not. Lovely course I hope to play again.

Fantastic layout and course was in great shape. Staff was amazing from the front desk, starter, guys on the drop and the bartender. Will be back soon!

Slow play killed the day - left with4 holes to go - after 4 hours I had had enough with 4 to go it was gonna be over 5 hours - no sign of a ranger all day -
Beautiful course
Fun course to play: a bit pricey at $145 on am Oct Fri AM, but great course and layout. A lot of fun!
Pace could be better
5 hrs is too long, need to have some one moving groups along.

Best the greens have ever been
Yes it true the tee boxes and some fairways have some end of season hurt but the greens are in the best shape I’ve seen them in ever and I’ve played here for 25 years take my word for it
