Latest round at Coyote Creek
I felt the course was in fairly good shape. Greens were a bit hard and also a bit slower than they looked. Not sure why as they looked like they had just been cut. Tee box areas were in really poor shape. I would have thought that during the temporary closure that course maintanence would have been much better. Some tee boxes were bare without any grass. I was surprised about that.
Great Value and easy to walk
This course is great, it is easy to walk. Is not overly difficult but does have some challenging holes. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.
good fairways, fair greens
The pace of the game was excellent. The fairways in good condition, the greens were fair. Staff at Coyote Creek are extremely courteous and very helpful. The only complaint I have is that I am 73 years young and usually have to use the restroom while playing an 18 hole round, the only restroom available was located at the check in facility. Other then that we had a great time.
Covid 19th hole
The course is in relatively good condition. Some of the tee boxes were heavily damaged but repairable. Course was aerated about 1 week prior. Greens recovered quickly but were slow. No amenities on the course at all due to Covid-19 rules. Otherwise, it was a good round
Well Done!
The course was in great condition after just being reopened for two days.following closure per state orders due to Coronavirus. I give the course extremely high ratings for their efforts to protect golfers from the.virus. Reservations were taken online or via phone, which is standard, all rounds were paid via phone upon arrival; no personal contact needed. Tee times were spaced at 16 minutes to avoid excess player contact. Clubhouse allowed restroom entry and food/drinks could be ordered and were placed on outside table for pickup. All other areas in clubhouse were closed; signs clearly indicated this. Outside door was open, as well as restroom doors, so one need not touch these surfaces. Driving range and putting greens well marked as closed. Scorecards and pencils were available at first tee. I commend the course staff for their efforts to protect everyone, and reopen for play for us!!!!
Glad Coyote Creek is open1
Great day for golf and the course was in great condition. The pace of play was great and we never had to wait on any hole.
Way out East
It’s worth the drive. Wide open. Pace of play has always been good. Well maintained for the most part. Wasn’t thrilled that the last day we played there were no carts available. Golf now never alerted us of that despite the fact the pro shop said they sent the alert out. Instead of eighteen, my wife and I walked nine. Luckily the pro shop had one pull
cart left. Obviously, we weren’t the only ones surprised. That wasn’t good. Nobody accepts responsibility nor the blame. Sign of the times in America.
It was a fun course. Not too challenging. Great for intermediate and beginners It was fun especially in the middle of January!
Great day out, especially in Nov!
We played the course looking for a moderate level course with friendly folks and rates that wouldn't break the bank. We were pleasantly welcomed. It seemed that we booked through the course's website, but apparently it was through Golfnow. The walking rate after 12p was super nice. The conditions at the course were really good, especially for November. Only 1 tee box seemed to have iffy conditions, and it snowed this week! Kudos to the groundskeepers! The wind laid low for our round, sweet! The greens still had a bit of post-aeration bumpiness, but it wasn't too bad. Overall, this was a very enjoyable day at a moderate difficulty course with a terrific deal.
Coyote Creek GC

55 to 30 in 1-Hour flat
This was the worst day to play. a 50/55 degree day, normally a great winter gold day turned miserable a=just at tee-off. I made it through 7 holes; well frozen as it was now 36 degrees and windy.
Not a fair assessment of, not the best day to return to this course that I had not played in 10 years. after completing the 7th, (located near the clubhouse) I promptly drove the cart to my car, sat in trying to thaw and then left, fingers frozen.
I would love another shot at the course though, especially since I was only 2-over through 7 on a frigid day.

Nice pace of play
I had a good day playing golf with my buddies on a nice relaxing course. From the tee boxes there really isn't a lot of obstacles to worry about, for the most part you hit driver on all the Par 4/5's. Sometimes I do prefer to look down a hole and not think to much but it would be nice for there to be a little more trouble down the fairways. The course was in good shape, greens were putting very true. My only complaint was the tee boxes were kind of a mess, and beat up. i would recommend this course for someone who just wants a nice relaxing day on the course with some friends.
Father/son day
When you can play a round of golf with your adult son it makes for a great day and that we had.
Coyote Creek - 1st Time
Loved playing here. Moved to Colorado last month and this was my second time playing up here. Greens were in phenomenal shape and the pace wasn’t too bad. Front 9 provides more of a challenge, but was excited to shoot a 39, first under 40 on 9 to finish off an 83 for the day. Drove 30 minutes up from Denver and it was very much worth it.
Nice muni course
Nice simple course that is well taken care of. Took a brand new player out and he really enjoyed it. Greens do a nice job of holding shots and an average player can attack the pin and be rewarded. Really makes you feel good about your game. I’ll be back.
