Great little track
Always a good time at Coyote Creek. Course is in real good shape for January.
course nice -- staff NOT
I bought a hot deal for FOUR. Only 2 of us could play so we went early since it was 30F and we thought we could get out ASAP. The guy gave us trouble about wanting to go early because he didn't get any $$ for hot deals and players want to do that all the time. There was only one foursome other than us. This is the first time we have ever had any trouble of this sort.
Just thought you should know.
No real surprises
This course has no real surprises. You get what you see. I was disappointed in the greens. They had been aerated 3 weeks prior but I expected them to be healed more than they were. Also, the sand bunkers were like hitting on concrete.
Location & Staff mean I will never be back.
This has potential to be a great course. They must have a great water supply, because the course was green and lush. The staff were not friendly and I was particularly disappointed at the ranger. Who came to tell us 3 times we'd need to leave the course before 5:58pm as that was sunset time. He then also proceeded to stalk us for the last hour of the round and sat just shy of our green at around 5:55pm to make sure we didn't continue on - even though there was likely a good 45min to an hour of golf left and we were on hole 15. It is no surprise the course was so quiet with that kind of customer service.
Needless to say, I won't be back.
Love this place
Playing this early for us is always fun. You can roar through in <4hrs. It had been aerated and the greens sanded recently. The crew was still out mowing that morning. But except for the clippings and bumpy greens due to aeration, the course was immaculate. The greens putt true. Everyone there is very friendly. The grounds crew know where you are and stay out of your way with a friendly wave. The clubhouse staff are genuinely glad to see you play their course. Great place to play.
Smooth round and friendly service
We were off #1 on time and was not held up at any point accept navigating the testy par 5 at #9. Course in great shape. Recent aerating on greens.
Great choice for a get away round
Have been coming to Coyote Creek since it opened. Love coming here, great golf, very friendly staff and the price is always attractive!
fall play
Staff is the best, very friendly and helpful. We came in late and they all said goodbye and come back. Course was a little soggy, but a huge rainstorm the day before, but the course was fun and not frustrating since I am new to golf. For a 18 hole course it moves at a fast pace.
No management at facility
Course is in very good shape. Some bare spots in the rough. Made the front 9 in excellent time, made the turn and management allowed someone to tee off on 10 in front of us, All of a sudden from no waiting to 10 min before we could tee off. So we replayed to front 9. Played the round in under 4 hrs but was most disappointed with the lack of management. No marshals, no starters, no one around..
Great Price
This course was in really great shape. The fairways are a little narrow making it a challenge.
great greens for a great price
Greens and fairways were in good shape. Not to difficult of a place to play. I liked how there are par 5 at 9 and 18. Would recommend for an afternoon golfer.
Pretty good!
Pretty nice course out in ft Lupton. It was a little dry, but it was also 95 degrees out that day. The only real issue was that the beverage cart came around on the 6th hole, and didn't return until we were on the 18th green. Being that it was so hot, it would've been nice to have more drinks. Overall, it was definitely worth the money.
pleasantly surprised
Very good value especially for a weekend. $47 including cart. Only 25 minutes from north Denver. Course is in nice condition.
Great course, pretty slow though
We played on a Saturday around noon and the pace was very slow. However, the course (and especially the greens!) were in very good shape. This is a pretty easy course that doesn't make you suffer for errant tee shots. I shot an 87 and did not play that well.
Good Value
For $42 it's hard to find a course that is cahmpiochip length and in good condition. This is one of them. Pace of play for a Friday was amazing, a little under 3.5 hours.
Beverage cart??
Had a great time playing CC on July 3rd. My only source of complaint was that it was 95 degrees and there wasn't any beverage cart service out on the course.
Very Forgiving
Course is pretty wide open and in good shape. There was a tournament in front of us, so it was painfully slow.
Greens are awesome!
Fairways are lush, greens run smooth. The only thing I noticed were all the bunkers need some sand- all were hard and compact.
Great course for the price!
We played 18 holes for just over 20.00 after the discount. Can't beat that with a wooden spoon!
Well maintained course
The course was well maintained. Need yardage markers on the fairways, if there were some, I didn't see them. I saw the refreshment cart 4 times, which was great! The pace of play was very slow. There were 2 ranger out and about, but did nothing about the pace of play. They need to keep golfers playing at a better pace.
