Belmont Hills Golf Club
About
Although Belmont Hills Golf Club (formerly known as the Belmont Golf and Country Club.) opened in 1923, it has not always been the same course as it stands today. The original layout was largely featureless and so it was decided to completely redesign the golf course in 2002. The renovation was the most extensive golf course rebuilding project in the Bahamas. The new design includes fast, multi-tiered greens, tight fairways, and plenty of strategic bunkering. On the back nine there is a million-gallon lake that provides challenging water hazards. The changes made Belmont Hills Golf Club more exciting with a layout that favors accuracy over strength. The course also offers scenic views of Hamilton Harbor and the Great Sound.

Another lovely day out
Some parts of the course are in need of attention - for instance the bunker sand is hard and compressed, but the greens are in great condition and it's a fun place to play.
Most enjoyable
My wife plays holiday golf and this is just the kind of course and conditions which she really enjoys. Good pace of play and good fun.
not nice
Nice Layout but terrible conditions and cart paths only staff at baggage drop and clean clubs call me a taxi before I got done was fantastic
I'm a member, but purchased a round for my son. It's a good course for all skill levels, but it desperately needs watering. Everything is very dry at this time, so it's hard to find grass to place your ball on. All of the grass is very yellow and dry.
A bit narrow
This is a fun, picturesque course, but be forewarned , it has many narrow fairways.
Undulating greens are a fun challeng. Bring your A game but B,C, and D players will have a great time.
Great Course
This course was in good shape and the staff was extremely friendly. Only issue was that the course was cart path only. This wasn't a huge issue as some of the fairways are very narrow, but it can cause issues for some of the longer holes. Pace of play was excellent andif you are able to get one of the hot deals on golfnow you cannot beat the value.
Must Play
Challenging course with small greens. Must play for accuracy and ball placement. Greens are in good shape. Not much water but still a challenging and fun to play course. Every time I go to Bermuda I will make sure I play Belmont Hills.
Nice little course at a nice little price
Belmont Hills is a very playable track. My wife (36 handicapper) and I (9 handicapper) both enjoyed it. I think it helped that we were paired with somebody who knew the course a little bit. If you want a break from the expensive courses (Mid Ocean, Tucker's Point, Port Royal), this works. Like all of the Bermuda courses, there were beautiful ocean views. Restaurant was closed or being refurbished, but maybe that's because it was December.
Great Value in Bermuda
Really friendly and helpful staff. Drove out with the cart to load the clubs. Got us lots of ice for our water and sodas. Great course for all and a great opportunity to golf a longer course.
They are renovating the snack bar and I look forward to this. We usually stop for a snack after 9 holes, but it was closed.....:( Looked like they were going to open later.
Very average
Pro shop under construction/renovation. Got out on course right away great staff. Really slow round but we were a twosome. Conditions average at best aerated greens. Somewhat tight fairways quite hilly not as many nice views as expected. Port Royal a much better choice even at double the cost.
Great course, and had it all to ourselves!
Played it twice this week and hardly saw anyone over 36 holes. Less than $100 for a round, cart and clubs. Staff were very helpful and the course was in great shape. Only comment on all the courses we have played in Bermuda... Stay out of the sand bunkers. They are rock hard like hitting off cement. They need to turn them over and add more to make them playable.
Great island course
Great value rolling hills, ocean views on back nine
Sporty Course with some Diabolical Pin Placements
A short course that I would classify as sporty. I used my 5-wood off the tees and that was sufficient. Interesting layout with some wild pin placements on some holes. It was the most fun we've had on a golf course and took tons of pictures. Course was in great shape, except the green had been treated and had grooves on them.
Shot placement course
Since course is of average distance, need to be accurate with shots. Hilly so had to adjust to awkward stances over ball. Greens were slow and bumpy. Course was in reasonable condition for late December. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Easy access to course by bus.
good golf day
I like the convenience golfnow provides me. Just show up a play, no need to bring cards or cash. Maybe cash for snacks and drinks. Belmont is a good golf course to test your iron play.
Belmont
Enjoyed the course but seemed kind of short. Still some good challenging holes in spite of this. Staff friendly and helpful. Got behind some slow players toward the end of the round so a ranger would've helped a bit. No beverage cart available on an extremely hot/humid day.
