About
Located just seven minutes from downtown Hamilton, off the North Shore of Devonshire, Ocean View Golf Club is easily the closest golf course to Bermuda's capital city. The blue Atlantic waters and gentle ocean breezes offer scenic views and create a tranquil atmosphere, but do not underestimate this nine-hole course as it offers a fair amount of challenge. Club selection is crucial due to the elevation changes of the terrain and the occasional strong winds. Although it is an executive length course, there are 18 tee positions to enable play on a second round of holes. Ocean View Golf Club has garnered a following among locals, which in turn has also made it a popular destination for visitors.

Ocean View
Fun course with a lot of history. Challenging due to some blind shots but much fun.
The greens were bumpy and need some work.
Overall, we had a great time!!!
Great except terrible greens
The greens are terrible. Bumpity bump right, bumpity bump left, bumpity bump up. Not irrigated and in terrible shape. Not worth putting.
Fun little coarse
Coarse has some challenging holes with slopey fairways. Was a fun course. Only thing we didn’t like were the bumpy greens. They had just been fertilized with granular fertilizer
Great condition for the price
Ocean View is a fantastic value, especially when you consider the other limited options on the island. Sure, the greens were a bit bumpy (but relatively fast) and a few tee boxes were a little rough, but when you’re only paying $60 for 18 holes with a cart for a course with pretty decent conditions when all competition is charging $200+, this is fantastic value. 10/10 will be playing again.
Possibilities
The course has potential. The conditions were not great. The grass is sparse in the fairway and the greens were very slow and bumpy. Old school bermuda grass wasn't very dense. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Only 9 holes.

Bermuda golf is amazing. The views are insanely beautiful and all staff members are incredibly nice and accommodating. Some of the best golf in the world.

Great test of skill
I love Ocean View GC, a tough course especially with the wind, it was up! in good shape, I lost quite a few balls, but found more…with the wind my left to right banana is very challenging, then I smartened up and used the 3 wood and 4 iron, worked much better! My putting was lousy but no different than home in Canada…My next game is at Port Royal next week and I will go putt for 1/2 hour before playing…
