Always a friendly round
We’ve been coming here for years and we always enjoy it. Staff is always very friendly. Pace of play is always good.,
Back again
Wanted to go to the East course, but there were no HD available. Played the West. Had a good time. Wife almost broke 100, so it was a good round.
Very nice public course !!!
Challenging layout. Course is in good condition. Very large greens.
I HAD A 10:40 TEE TIME. TOOK LESS THA 5 MINUTES TO CHECK IN.
WENT TO THE TEE WHICH WAS WHICH OPEN.
AFTER TEEING OFF, THE COURSE WAS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THE GREENS WHERE PERFECT.
MY HATS OFF TO THE GREEN CREWS AND STAFF FOR MAKING A PERFECT DAY FOR ME TO ENJOY A ROUND OF GOLF.
Simple design
Pretty open. Greens in excellent shape. Rolled fast and true. Straight forward golf. Some interesting holes
This is a go to course for me. However, I prefer the East course. Conditions were decidedly wet soft with areas of mud.
Not bad co ditions for mid April
I like the East better, but gave started to really like the West recently greens in nice shape. Fairways can be a little wet, but quickly drying. Staff is always friendly. Strongly recommend the West
Great course
I’ve played both east and west and both are great courses would definitely play again
Great round
Greens were nice-on the slow side but held well. Great pace of play and fairways were in great shape.
No complaints.
again
I have played here often. Pretty straight course, especially the front 9. I was a bit surprised that the fairways were as soft as they were considering we have not had a lot of rain in 4 days. But it is where the course is located. The south side of Oneida Lake is always wet or damp. Nice course for beginners because so many of the holes are straight.
The Old Course is a Challenge
Met with wonderful staff from both the Clubhouse and Office Management who greeted us with open arms. The course was playing long especially for the ladies in our group. Greens were especially quick and sloped front to back. Nice conditions which is the norm as the locals attest. Would recommend to anyone looking for old school golf. From the tips .... it's bombs away as the par fives keep you honest playing three shots in. Thank you !!!
