Always enjoyable
Very friendly staff course in great shape. I was a single and the course wasn’t busy and I caught up to a twosome who offered me to join them or play through. I chose to play through. Soon caught up to a slow 4 some and could see they were not going to ask if I wanted to play through so I skipped a hole to go around them only to hear them course me out and one of them threatened me for going around them. I told them it’s not worth it and drove back 3 holes to stay away from them. It sucks that 1 groups of jerks can ruin an otherwise great day. However, this was no fault of the course. I recommend this course
Hometown favorite
We played the West course the day before and enjoyed it, but the East course must be the locals favorite because more people were playing this side. There seemed to be more of a challenge with trees and water. The greens were some of the best we've played this year. unable to rate the amenities since all we did was golf. we enjoyed it so much, we're going back!
Enjoyable
Course was in great shape. Greens rolled great, fast but held shots well. Good pace of play. Staff very friendly. I dropped my range finder and a worker went out of his way to return it to me. THANK YOU! I recommend the course and will be back. I would play here more but it is 80 miles from home but usually play here twice a year and always enjoy it

Course was in decent shape considering the rain we have had. Some standing water. Greens were surprisingly quick. My only complaint would be the carts. They are horrible.
Good Day
Pros: IT was a beautiful day. Course was in very good condition. Staff was friendly. Price is average for most courses. Club house is nice and drinks were cold.
Cons: Club house gave us a plastic bag of ice for our six cans of White Claw (tacky). There was a little confusion over which course we were playing....our tee time was for the East Course and when we checked in, they said in fact that we were playing the West Course.
Otherwise it was a great day of golf.
Same course different day
Rogue’s Roost west course has been the same
For several years. It’s not the best, especially hole 15 - but it’s usually in pretty good shape. It’s not PGA by any means but def isn’t a bad course to play. I recommend it for a quick outing with a friend or family member.
Good value
Greens were in great shape and the rest of the course was pretty good as well. Great value with the hot deal price.
Enjoyed My Worst Round EVER!
I found every pond on the course lol Shot my worst round in at least 20 years and I still had a great time! The greens were in fantastic condition (probably 9-9.5ish on the stimp) and the fairways were nice. This was my first trip around this course and I took it too lightly. It looks easy on paper, but it is quite challenging if your shots start to wander side-to-side. Play within yourself, keep it in the fairway and out of the ponds and you should go lower than my horrible round. This is a very nice course and I will be back for revenge.
The greens in excellent condition.
The greens were fast and top shape. The fairway were dry and ball ran a ton. The pace of place was pretty fast for the course being crowded. It is a great course to play for the price.
We had a two-some on a Sunday morning and were the second group out. The foursome in front let us play through right away - and what resulted was the fastest 18 holes I've ever played. Done in under 2 and a half hours!
Pro Shop staff was friendly, check in was easy, course was in fine condition. Greens were surprisingly quick, especially for being wet in the early morning hours. If you're hitting the ball well (which I wasn't), the course is definitely scoreable - but there are definitely a few holes where the course demands precision. Great experience!!
Poor Customer Service and Scheduline
Booked a round on golf now while traveling from Boston to New York with a work colleague. Showed up 30 minutes early was going to stretch get ready etc..
Intitially greeted in the pro shop like I did someting wrong as it wasn't showing up on the older employees screen. Luckily a younger employee was there to show him how to find the reservation. Then was told it's league and these reservations shouldn't be available.
Had to skip a couple holes to get out in front of the league, per the instructions of the pro shop. Course was in good shape and fun for 5 holes we played. Ended up quitting after 5 holes cause the turn was 6 groups behind. Waste of money and time.
Bang for the Buck
Decent course with some unique holes. Not too crowded and with the hot deal the price was right.
