Spring golf
The course is in terrific shape ...especially since it is only late April.
Great course(s)
My friends and I played twice within the last three days. Both times, we played an extra 9 holes, as the courses were in excellent condition, and the price was certainly right-$14 for 18 holes incl. cart. $8 for 9 holes cart fee. Hoe can you go wrong? The staff is friendly, the courses are in fantastic shape, we have made a habit of playing there when we can. It is a 45 minute drive for us, and it is well worth it.
Good round of golf
had a nice day golfing with my wife, course was in pretty good shape, weather was great. Not sure if it was my GPS or a web site but directions would have taken us to the wrong location (we had played the East course before).
Nice course
Course was nice, very small greens. Greens were fast canted hard from back to front. Many of the greens have run offs. Fairly open so you can miss. Lay up at the 10th hole to about 230 or else in the water. Some of the staff Wow.
Fun in the Sun
Great weather and golf game with a good friend. Nice wide fairways with fairly small greens. Greens were good but could be better if players fixed their ball marks. Must be a nightmare for the greens keeper. Overall a very good course and fun to play. Played 18 holes in 3 1/2 hours.
West course
Not a bad course for the money. It was in descent shape. Greens were ok. Nice layout. Got a very good deal on golf now.
Fun course
Fun course, great shape. Small greens that were in great shape and ran fast and smooth
Great course
great course to play on. nice layout. all-tho it misted/rained the entire 18 holes when we played, still had a great game. everything was in pristine condition and the greens on both the east and west course are the best Ive played on.
Would recommend for the average golfer
The corse is in good condition. Not too many bunkers or water hazards but plays long.
Enjoyable Round
Found the course to be in good condition. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Course is not difficult - they have another course that is sloped higher. For a nice round of golf without too much water or bunkers this was just right. Greens were in very good shape.
Straight forward course with a couple a wrinkles
What you see is what you get. Few surprises for the long hitters that are playing for the first time. Old
Golf carts
West course is in nice shape.
We have golfed at Rogues Roost a few times. This time seemed to impress us the most. The fairways were nicely trimmed & the ruff wasn't so deep so that you could't find your ball. The greens were in good shape, not overly fast, but challenging to read sometimes. The course is very flat, a little bumpy in spots, but very enjoyable. Quite a few long holes.Played 18 in less than 2.5 hrs!
Hard greens
Aside from the hard greens and the congestion of the course everything was excellent. I plan on returning to play again.
