Fun course. Great layout and trees. Sloping greens. Only complaint is super uneven tee boxes. Would go again

Course has several challenging holes.
Really nice course in very good condition. The course is a challenge especially with the fast greens. Friendly and accommodating staff and excellent food.

Great Day For Golf
Friday was perfect golf weather sunny, mid-70s, low humidity, slight breeze. Course was in nice shape. Pace of play was average. Our group finished in 4.5 hours with Club Car riding carts. Greens were a little slick with some interesting pin placements.

Really enjoy Camillus
One of the best course on Golf Now near me, but I wish it was closer. 1 hour and 20 minutes away so I do not get there as often as I would like, but it is worth the drive once, or twice a year. Some very tricky fast greens and some blind shots add to the difficulty. The staff always treat you well and add the little touches that make this a great course to play. It was extremely hot when we played but they had a cooler with Ice Cold towels for the players. I work at a course close to home and I always tell people they should make the ride. The only thing they could use is some bells to ring to alert players they can play up on a few holes.

Played four courses in 4 days while on vacation. This was by far the best. Stunning views and whole course was in great shape.

Fun course, great value
Was in the area for a wedding and had time for a round of golf. Picked Camillus GC based on reviews and was very happy with the choice. Fun, hilly course with some blind shots and interesting holes. #9 hole is awesome! Highly recommend the course, and hope to play it again.

Nice course, great staff, a couple small quirks worth knowing.
• I'd recommend playing Camillus the day after rain, in the spring or fall. Playing in mid summer means there will be a few glass greens. A 1" tap can lead to a 90 foot roll off the green.
• The food hut on the course - I ordered a burger and I regretted it for 3 days.

• If the greens were adjusted to be less than "fast as glass" then we would probably play there more often. *hint hint*

Course detail
Great value, hilly course with fast bent greens. Elevated greens and tee boxes. Fairways in excellent condition. Rented nice clubs, and had a tasty hot dog at the turn. Pace of play was great.

Camillus Golf and CC
It provides golfers with a challenging 18, with hills and very fast greens. Camillus is the best conditioned public course in CNY. The greens were fast and excellent and the fairways were in prime condition. I will play there as often as I can....

Need A Course Marshal on Busy Days
Played 18 holes at Camillus GC with one of my golf buddies and his 2 sons. Weather was sunny and mid-to-upper 70s. Course was in great shape. My only complaint was a group of 6 golfers using 3 carts which slowed down the pace of play considerably. In my opinion, this place would benefit from a course Marshal who could monitor tee times, golfers on the course and pace of play,, especially on busy days. We really enjoyed our round and will return. A big plus was the Snack Shack on Hole #6.
