Great shape after quite a few rainy days
This is a great course overall. Staff is friendly with a beautiful clubhouse. We had some heavy rains on the days leading up to our round but the course drains great. The only real issue is you have a lot of blind shots because of the terrain. Could use a few bells on the course to let the players behind know it is clear to hit. pace of play was great once we hit the turn as the foursome that was two groups in front of us stopped at the turn because of a brief heavy shower. We decided to keep playing to get in front of them. They were really slow and seemed to be playing some sort of scramble.

Another fun day
I have played Camillus Hills a few times now and it has been good each time. the pace of play is usually pretty good. It just reopened for the season and I have played it twice. yesterday was amazing, the weather was perfect, the scenery is always great with a blend of open fairways line by forest and the back nine with holes cut through the wooded areas. Not too difficult, especially if you hit it fairly straight, but fun.... I/We, will be back often.

Excellent course
Absolutely my favorite course in the central NY area!
very nice course with some tough fast greens
Everything is great about this course, but sometimes the pace of play can be a bit slow. Very friendly owner.
Nice challanging course
Perfect weather for November, course was in great shape. Don't know why the senior and woman's tee markers weren't out, but we navigated our way around.Only complaint by us and other golfers there was the pin placements. Very difficult with the quickness and the way the greens are sloped.

First time here
First time here and enjoyed the course. A few too many blind shots but it was in great shape. The only surprise was I had read many reviews that said the greens were extremely fast but we did not find that the case. I assume that had to do with it being the end of the year. The only real complaint I had was not a fault of the course but the golfers that had played either earlier, or even the day before. I have never seen so many ball marks on the greens, it appeared no one was fixing them. I seemed to be fixing 4-5 on every green. It was an 1 hour 20 minute ride but i thought it was worth the ride.

Last time?
Thought the last time this season would have been two weeks ago. But we have a break in the weather!!! Course was pretty busy so the pace was only "good". But acceptable. Javi and his staff always do a great job keeping the course in GREAT shape!

Course is playing well !
Conditions are pretty good for the hard summer we had. Greens are fast and true. It was as a good pace of play.
Fall Golf
I thought the course was in good shape as dry as the summer has been. Greens and around the greens were in excellent condition and bunkers were raked and in great shape as well.
Great place to play and it will challenge you in many ways.

Home course. Despite the drought here in CNY, the grounds crew have done a GREAT job keeping the course playable. The greens were lightning fast - not used to that. Played from the white tees, which is long for me (67 years old), but I was hitting great. 91 score.

Great shape
Course is in great shape, has held up really well to a summer that was dry. One of the nicest public courses in CNY.

Great track and in great shape
They call it Camillus Hills for a reason, nearly every hole features big elevation changes. Course is in great shape, pace of play pretty good even on a busy weekend. Water only comes into play on a couple holes. New carts are a nice added touch.
