Bristol Oaks Golf Club and Banquet Center

About
Bristol Oaks Golf Club and Banquet Center is situated just 30 minute from the suburbs of both Milwaukee and Chicago. It is popular among locals for being one of the area's best values. Despite its convenient location, the course feels tranquilly secluded thanks to the miles of picturesque countryside surrounding it. Mature trees dot the rolling landscape, coming into play along the fairways and framing most of the holes. Water hazards come into play on four holes. Strategically placed bunkers are also lurking near most of the greens. The golf course is challenging but offers a playability that makes it appealing to a range of skill levels. Four diverse sets of tees make it even more approachable. There is also a lighted grass driving range and expansive chipping and putting areas available at Bristol Oaks Golf Club and Banquet Center.

Great Value Course
Bristol Oaks has a been a place I have been trying to get to for a while, and Im glad I finally did. The driving range is very nice flat range with lots of targets ($7 for a small bucket and not great balls is a little steep. From there I am a huge fan of the putting green in walking distance to the 1st tee that was great. The course is fairly open and straight forward with nice tree line fairways. The conditions were better than I expected for $35 course. Fairways were very nice green were smooth and rolled very true. #2 is a great short par 4. At only 289 yards and a big dog leg left you really have hit two well positioned shots to have a chance at birdie. #7 is a fun dog leg par 5 where you have to choose how much you want to cut. I got very lucky and had just a 9 iron into the green. Half way house service was very good and big delicious $5 hot dog is the way to go . #15 is a beautiful par 3 measures 153 yards over a pond with creek along side. Finally you end with the par 5 up hill dog leg right to a bunker protected green, and a green with prolly the most tilt and undulation of all the greens there. I definitely recommend this as a value course to get out and play.

good course
Tee's, fairway's and greens in good condition. Pace of play excellent. Nineteenth hole great.
DO NOT BUY A HOT TEE TIME
For the second consecutive year I've bought a hot deal tee time for 18 holes and a CART. Both times they weren't able to let carts out due to the condition of the course. No refund was given by golf now or bristol oaks due to the last minute change by bristol oaks management of a walking only policy. Great customer service bristol oaks
Inexpensive and not crowded
If you are looking for the Country Cluub experience, this isn't the place. If you're looking for inexpensive golf at a place you can get on and off fairly quickly (On weekdays at least) and still feel you're playing a respectable course, this is it. Despite the recent rains, the course is very playable, although some of the rough hasn't been mowed recently, the greens are in good shape. If you haven't been here, there many interesting holes. It's a nice place. It's not special, but it doesn't pretend to be.
OK for this early date.
Course conditions were just okay for this early in the year

Beautiful Course....other areas need improvement.
Let's start with the good. Course was beautiful and well kept. The driving range was in great shape. The carts dont have sand bottles to repair your divots. That was odd to me but no big deal. They did have port-o-johns every few holes throughout the course. Staff were very friendly. I think management really needs to fix the smell issue inside the clubhouse. It smelled like really bad mildew inside. I ate a brat that day 30 minutes before the tee off and by hole 2 I was looking for the port-o-john. Stomach was cramping horribly bad from the sausage.
3 stars
Bristol Oaks is a great course for less-talented players. We were also allowed to start on the back9 so we would not have to wait for a league where the players showed up a little early due to pending bad weather.
Great layout, constantly improving, becoming must play
Bristol Oaks is fast becoming a must play course in SE Wisconsin. The conditions continue to get better, the layout is fantastic, with a great mix of holes. This year the course went back to its 1964 layout, so now the 18th hole is the 2nd hole from previous years, which is a fantastic dogleg right par 5. There is just enough water and sand to make it a great challenge, but a lot of the difficulty comes in the greens, they can be very tough if you miss them. The practice range is fantastic, with ample space, and the food is amazing. Highly recommend.
