Bristol Oaks Golf Club and Banquet Center
About
Bristol Oaks Golf Club and Banquet Center is situated just 30 minute from the suburbs of both Milwaukee and Chicago. It is popular among locals for being one of the area's best values. Despite its convenient location, the course feels tranquilly secluded thanks to the miles of picturesque countryside surrounding it. Mature trees dot the rolling landscape, coming into play along the fairways and framing most of the holes. Water hazards come into play on four holes. Strategically placed bunkers are also lurking near most of the greens. The golf course is challenging but offers a playability that makes it appealing to a range of skill levels. Four diverse sets of tees make it even more approachable. There is also a lighted grass driving range and expansive chipping and putting areas available at Bristol Oaks Golf Club and Banquet Center.

best value
This course is probably the best bang for your buck. Well cared for and great practice facility at a great price.Would recommend to anyone.
Greens are tough
The course was in good shape but a few of the greens let it down. The grass could have been a little better. Other then that, I had a great time!
A Pleasure
Pleasant people, price and pace. will do it again. That's all the words I have, just filling space to reach your minimum.
Great Day of Golf
Had a fun time with my son and 12 yr old nephew. As a senior it was all I could handle but really enjoyed myself. I've played this course before and always try to get out when I come to Racine each summer from out of state.
Nice little course
Nice course. Rough was nice and tall, fairways were nicley kept and the greens were challenging.
More Water!
The greens were hard and punishing good shots to the green. The tee boxes were dry. No water in the fairways either. The fees are high, spend some money to water. Pace of play was slow and the ranger didn't help. Very disappointed.
Old time country club
I'm 66years old and this is the kind of facility I grew up on . Large practice area, large clubhouse where you could hold large events. A real men's and ladies locker rooms with all the amenitys.
Weekend Hacker
Not a fan of so many greens on a plateau..If you miss the green you are chipping uphill from nasty thick club grabbing rough. Greens were smooth but sloped and most holes were cut on top of a hump. Driving range has normal grass instead of tee box grass. Weather was very hot and could not hold the greens with my Titleist soft balls..
Nice course, friendly staff
First time there...staff was so friendly. Marshall provided assistance with layout of course. Very good condition overall.
bring a lawn mower
course was in very poor/un kept condition, the ruff is a foot tall grass right off fairways, tee boxes too plush and tall grass patches, fairways needed serious mowing, sand traps are rock hard. very disappointed over all. Unless you want to spend 5 minutes looking for a drive that rolls 1 foot off the fairway, go else where. Serous maintenance and upkeep issues.
Since mid-70's
The course has matured nicely since I started playing there 40 or so years ago
Poor conditions
Fairways were in bad shape.... Golfed in May there were a ton of weeds. Grass was overdue to be cut made it hard to find ball even if was on the fairway.. Also the greens were terrible.
Good value. Public course, where you get what you pay for.
Course was not in good shape, but still early in the season. Slow pace of play. Seemed like a lot of beginner golfers on the course. They had a ranger, but he couldn't do anything about the fivesome slowing everyone down. Good burger at the outside grill at the turn.
Wide Open Joy
It was a Thursday afternoon first week of may blue skys 82 degrees and 20-25 mile winds SSW it was a challenge to tweak your clubs to beat the wind and get distance fairway were cut well with no clumping and the greens were cut short and were clean and fast. Cart girl came by every three holes. Over all a great day. The only down is they don't sell cigars!
Good course for money
I play the course often. its good play for the money. the only thing I did not understand is that it cost more to book through golfNow than book on their website or phone.
Fun course but lots of leaves
Played 18 holes with my grandson and really enjoyed the day. The greens are pretty hard and difficult to hold a shot on, and there are lots of leaves in many areas. It's that time of year. We applied the leaf rule a couple times and didn't take penalities for balls we saw land in the area of leaves but couldn't find. For October it was a great day of fun. For those who haven't played Bristol Oaks, it's not a real long course but it is challenging with hard dog legs, and elevated greens. A great course for the money.
Nice course
Was a nice course everything was cut nice the greens were very hard and fast so putting was very difficult. Overall very nice.
