Lake Isle Country Club
About
Located in the heart of Eastchester, Lake Isle Country Club is a facility that is owned by the town and offers a swimming complex with five pools and a tennis center with eight courts in addition to the 18-hole, championship golf course. Opened in 1926, the course is one of the oldest in the area and it is still a local favorite. At just over 6,000 yards from the back tees, the course may be on the shorter side but it still offers some challenging holes. The layout is mostly reachable par 4s as well as a few tricky par 3s and only an occasional par 5. The golf course has a classic design that is approachable enough for a range of skill levels to feel comfortable tackling the layout.

Bring your leaf blower
The course is in very good shape considering the time of year, and much, much better than in May when I played here last, .but all the leaves have decided to come down at once. Good luck finding a ball if your shots aren’t pin-point accurate. Have someone in your group spot you regardless of how good you think you are in tracking your ball! Way too
many ball marks on the greens. At check-in, management needs to remind golfers to fix marks when the see them and rangers need to remind golfers as they make their rounds. The leaves and ball marks are all that separate a three from a four star review.
Hacker
Very nice course with fast greens and great pace of play. Marshall was super helpful when my buddy lost his club he went and found it for him in no time. Higher handicappers should be ready for a hard time out of the rough but when in the fairway the course plays pretty easy.
Stu review
Staff excellent, course in very good condition. Will look to play again
Nice course
Had a nice relaxed round with no one pushing us or slowing us down on a sunny Sunday afternoon. That alone is worth the price of admission.
Great course
Combination of easy and hard holes so something for everybody
Come during the week and pace of play is excellent
Snack bar is great too and all
Pro staff very friendly
Great shape
We played 4 days after the wrath of Ida. The course showed no signs of flooding, the course was in great shape, the rough was lush.
Staff So Friendly
The course itself is not bad, but the staffs are all extremely friendly!!! I was so impressed. I hit some drivers on their range before my round and I didn't notice the "Irons Only" sign, and the starter just very politely mentioned it to me while he reminded us that we're on the tee next. I would definitely recommend this course to others.
Enjoyable
Fun course, well maintained. Showed up early to hit some balls before my 10:01am start nice surprise to see my son and his GF already warming up on the range. Starter got us out 10 mins early always a good start to a round. Pace of play was great! Minus the grumpy guy in the foursome ahead of us yelling rules to my 20yo son but wouldn’t stop to talk with me(don’t chirp to my kid if your not man enough to speak with me) it was a great day and we will definitely be playing here again.
