Lake Isle Country Club
About
Located in the heart of Eastchester, Lake Isle Country Club is a facility that is owned by the town and offers a swimming complex with five pools and a tennis center with eight courts in addition to the 18-hole, championship golf course. Opened in 1926, the course is one of the oldest in the area and it is still a local favorite. At just over 6,000 yards from the back tees, the course may be on the shorter side but it still offers some challenging holes. The layout is mostly reachable par 4s as well as a few tricky par 3s and only an occasional par 5. The golf course has a classic design that is approachable enough for a range of skill levels to feel comfortable tackling the layout.

Not worth it
$70… you gotta be kidding me. Not worth it at all.
$40 then it would be.
Range sucks and they give you fake golf balls so they don’t go far and irons only.
They made us wait to get paired with another 2some. That’s fine whatever but then they send a 2 some out after us so we let them pass. We were just done with the 9th hole in 1 hour and 55 minutes as a foursome and the ranger comes out and tells us to hurry it up. I gave her an earful as what 4 some plays under 1:55?! They are looney.. won’t be playing here again.
Also, way too short of a course
Great public course
Loved to play this course
Nice layout with lots of trees
Will play here again very soon
good,better, not best
thoroughly enjoyed playing, staff was not real friendly, course conditions were adequate. enjoyed course layout and country climb amenities.
Rude Staff
This course is a semi private course however the staff acts like it’s an exclusive private golf course.. The ranger followed our group the whole round as if he didn’t have anything better to do. The course was in terrible shape, with most holes being under water. Pace of play was great we played 9 holes in 2:10 however the starter let two groups jump us at the turn. We walked off after 10 after waiting 20 minutes for our tee shot. The staff was rude and I feel it was because we were not members and booked through golf now. If that is their mentality perhaps they should stop accepting outside reservations. They need to get over their identify crisis and come to grips with reality which is they’re not a top notch country club. They have a mediocre course which should really be public. I rather play my local public courses than deal with that garbage.
Good golf course to go
Everything was perfect except length of some short holes.
Condition of greens were excellent maintenance.
Value for you dollar
Staff was very accommodating, course was in excellent condition, and play moved
Along very well. We never had to wait or rushed. Finished in under 4 hours.
Tremendous value for your dollat
very good fere for [;ay course
The course is very scenic. The greens and traps are in very good condition, but the fairways are good but not up to the level of private clubs. The course is short from the back tees (6100 yds) with some very long par 3s (208yds) 400+ par fours and short (300 to 325 par 4s).
A few blind holes. Only problem is no water on course, so either bring water buy water before tee off
A nicely manicured and challenging course
I thought the conditions were nice. I really appreciate when the fairway is cut to highlight the first level of rough. The holes were challenging, the fairway was a bit narrow and the greens were quite tricky. I also noticed on most holes thought went into the location of the pin.
I played during the week and we had the course to ourself. I can't speak to the PACE on weekends.
Will be going back
Always a great experience
Always enjoy this course for a quick game with the kids.
Mix of holes and the course in great condition
