Lake Isle Country Club
About
Located in the heart of Eastchester, Lake Isle Country Club is a facility that is owned by the town and offers a swimming complex with five pools and a tennis center with eight courts in addition to the 18-hole, championship golf course. Opened in 1926, the course is one of the oldest in the area and it is still a local favorite. At just over 6,000 yards from the back tees, the course may be on the shorter side but it still offers some challenging holes. The layout is mostly reachable par 4s as well as a few tricky par 3s and only an occasional par 5. The golf course has a classic design that is approachable enough for a range of skill levels to feel comfortable tackling the layout.

Worst Golf Experience Ever
The staff were immediately rude and unfriendly upon arriving. Tried convincing me to not play, after I had already paid. Course was packed and took 7 hours. Definitely would not recommend coming here
Great court near NYC
Played here in the afternoon after it poured in the morning. Course was well maintained and rough were kept.
Course layout was interesting with a few dog legs and some long par 3s.
Overall, a great course relative to the ones out in the city and pace of play was exceptional. Finished the round within 4 hours on a weekend
Not worth the money
$75 to play, pace of play is poor, greens aren’t just slow but unrolled and poor to putt on. You can take the same putt 2-3 times with differing result, completely at the mercy of getting a good bounce as it trundles along. The course is short, which is fine but the hole layouts are poor. For example there are like 2 par 4 doglegs where you can’t hit more than 200-225 off the tee but then have 200-240 into the green.
Nice clean and Challenging Course
Stay in the Fairway. Course is Narrow. But, you can still score will if you find your ball in the rough
Much improved
Many improvements in the course for this season. A new irrigation system has eliminated a lot of brown grass areas. And cart paths, many of which resembled roads in Third-World countries, have been repaved.
The course is much more fun to play this year.
Excellent course!
Very nice course, beautifully maintained. Friendly staff. Good bargain for a high class course that still maintains a “neighborhood” feel.
Beautiful course!
Absolutely a beautiful course. The greens are tight! Solid short game is a must at this course - found myself over shooting my second and third shots! That’s golf!
Nice but narrow
Course is well maintained and some variation of holes. I would have given a higher rating except I’m not a big fan of narrow and short courses.
Unfriendly staff
The starter was unfriendly to me and my friend when we checked in, and then was super friendly and joking around with his friends that ended up being in the group behind us. We were paired with another twosome that was slightly slow, but we were waiting for a few minutes for the group in front of us as most holes so it shouldn’t have been a big deal. Except the group in front of us was fast and kept calling to the rangers, who were harassing our group and riding with us telling us to stepped up for multiple holes the entire round, when we were right behind the group in front of us. It made the experience miserable. Also, the course is a little gimicky, with short par 4s where you can’t hit driver, and then really long pars 3s. One positive I will say is course is very well maintained. Still, I would stay away if you have other options
