Challenging, yet friendly layout
Overall the course was in really good shape. However, due to recent rains, every fairway was covered with fresh cut grass and very wet. This made the fairways a bit more challenging, but slowed the greens considerably (wet).
It's been a few years since I played and look forward to playing again soon.
A nice value weekday course
Went after work on a weekday, and the course was noticeably good conditions considering how much rain we got. Greens are very slow but a great course for the price. I don’t know about the weekend prices though.

Without a doubt the worst course I've played in years. Not one rake to be found. That's a first. I guess none were needed since there was no little sand in every bunker. Fairways were half grass and half weeds. The greens were just ok. Never going back.
Disappointing
i have played this course only a few times before, the last time about five years ago.
Although the staff was great, welcoming and helpful, the course itself had few redeeming qualities. Most holes are similar,, straight and boring. Course maintenance was below average with scruffy tees, clover-filled fairways, bumpy cart paths, etc, although the greens were pretty smooth and fair.
I hate to be so negative, but these are my honest thoughts.
Returning seniors.
My wife and I have always enjoyed playing this course. Not a fancy or polished course. We have been told for 2 years that they are closing. Probably why the course is not taken care of. Weedy fareways, bumpy cart paths and few if any sand trap rakes. However, we enjoy the nature that surrounds you while playing. On this particular day, we saw deer, turkeys, cranes, wood chucks, muskrats and many song birds. We also played 18 holes in 3 hours and 15 minutes.
Great choice
First time at this course, we enjoyed the experience.
Better Courses For the Same Price
Course is very poorly maintained; fairways are just clover grass and weeds and often can’t tell the difference between the fairway and the rough. On the flip side the greens were very well maintained.
Course tends to attract a bunch of drunk idiots; this has been my experience multiple times. People with no shirt on, we watched one guy play hole 14 and 15 three different times, drunk guys at the clubhouse yelling at groups as they tee off.
For the price they charge (it’s right up there with much nicer courses in the area), skip this goat track unless you want the Barstool Sports experience.
Side note - staff is wonderful and friendly, just not equipped to deal with the public
Terrible
No course rangers . Drunk people a head of us stopping play. They even had a group of 6 ? Drunk people screaming and swearing laying on the ground. . We ended up just leaving at the 13th hole coun not take it any longer
Wednesday group
First time playing there , nice layout, not real long but you have to stay on the fairway or you will find trouble. Greens were in very nice condition, also did have a beverage cart on Wednesday so very enjoyable round and great course for the golf now price
Nice course,
Only drawback is freeway noise..Will definitely play again.
Frequent golfers
Have played and enjoyed this course for decades. I have heard that this course is closing. That may explain the conditions. Cart paths are falling apart. Sand traps are lacking sand. Many dead trees throughout the course. No one watching the pace of play.

Used to be called Willow Run - I hadn't played it in about 20 years. The greens were in excellent shape and in spite of recent rain, no low muddy spots (used to have). Play was relatively fast - finished in 3:45. My partner said, "I'd definitely play here again". Also found out that I saved a few bucks using GolfNow - even compared to the senior rate.
