Spring Training
As soon as the courses were opened back up I penciled this course in. Not because it's a great value, or a course with great conditioning but rather it's a fair course for an early season round, fairly easy, and extremely walkable.
With the course opening up this weekend, the fairways and greens were in good shape, to be expected with such little play. The bunkers appeared to not have been raked all season and were a little compacted so we played as lift clean and place or free lateral drops. Can't fault this based on the rules and most of the summer time the bunkers are in much better shape. That was the only conditioning downside. I was pleasantly surprised having played many rounds there I knew it can get a little muddy and wet on a few fairways. This was not the case on this day. Even a few fairways that seem to always be wet were walkable allowing the shoes to stay fairly dry throughout the day.
The first nine is the better of the two 9's with a wide variety of holes and teeing grounds. Reachable par 5's, a drivable 4 and some long 3's give you everything you need. If just playing nine, make sure its the front. The back is laid out like a typical parkland course, pretty straight back and forth routing making it feel similar holes on repeat.
Overall great for a quick round and a nice place to play with friends of varying skill levels. A nice public course that gives off the public course vibes. Conditions will not blow anyone away but at the price point you know what to expect.

my 1st time playing the course. Course was wet but we had rain for a few days prior to playing so every course was wet. Beer Cart girl was seen 5 times thru 18 holes, can’t ask for any better. Also shot a career best 80. Would go back again

Played the course on a Saturday with three buddies. Great experience. Not crowded. Greens were in great condition.

Overpriced
This course has always been the ugly step-child of the area. It used to be great for playing cheap rounds of golf when it was known as Willow Run and used to be priced around the $10 mark for walking twilight. The cheap price is what made it worth playing. Unfortunately a few years ago it was bought out and they raised the prices significantly, without improving the course at all!
The course has always been prone to flooding and wet conditions because it's located in a wetland area. The course is flat with little to no elevation change. The fairways have always been a mix of crabgrass. The greens are almost always covered in debris. The amenities at the club house are non existent. The driving range is just straight up crabgrass. I could go on...
Nothing will make this course great. It will always be like this simply because of the location. Whoever owns it just needs to give up and drop the prices back to what they were. Obviously everyone paying the current prices is not happy with their round, look at your reviews! Get a grip.

never should of let any one out water in all fairways .. in fact puddles and most were swamped .. i asked them if they could email Golf now for a refund but they insisted to put people out because of the Holiday weekend ... Worse ever experience EVER.. THE MANAGER IN THE CLUBHOUSE SHOULD HAVE BEEN DISMISSED FOR HIS POOR JUDGEMENT

BEWARE: GOLF AT YOUR OWN RISK
Sunday golf at Pewaukee Golf Club includes:
-No alcohol, bartenders, or beverage cart.
-CART PATH ONLY
-“GM” or white version of PSY from Gangnam style regripping his own golf clubs inside the club while customers are asking for food or drinks while a rain storm passes over.
-“GM” then proceeded to play behind our four-some and harassed us about leaving the cart path in an area that was completely dry.
-Greens full of leaves, sticks, and tree nuts. (Good luck putting)
- ALL Employees playing golf, leaving a high school kid ALONE in the club house on a SUNDAY?!?
-Bathrooms look like a Sunday morning after a college house party. Dirty is an understatement.

Great practice course
Beverage staff was outing standing,
Greens were still in excellent shape.
Course layout is still wonderful, back nine is really nice.

Don't play this course
Course in very poor condition. Appears to have issues with flooding. Not what I would consider golf course quality grass. Unfriendly staff and starter. Definitely not women golfer friendly.
This course is good deal
Had foursome front of my twosome that as extremely slow. Finally around them. Greens were slow and bumpy with airation holes not grown in. It is still a fun course has lot to offer.

Course was in good shape considering the late winter into spring. Wish they had some drinking stations filled and a few ball washers available. Overall it was a good experience.
