Tough course but enjoyable
Really enjoyed the course although it was challenging for me due to some narrow fairways and blind shots. Course was in good condition and greens were a little slow due to rain. Overall very satisfied with this course.

Not easy but a great time
One of the hardest courses in the county, but it is awesome. I’ve only been playing for about a year now and it’s one of my favorite courses. I’m still a high handicapped player, but you don’t need to be a low one to play here. Be prepared to lose a lot of balls.
First time out...
The course played great, some areas were wet and difficult at times to figure out the aerated greens (lots of holes) but totally understandable due to this time of year in the North East.
Very friendly staff and nice amenities.
Highly recommended.

Pace of play
Course layout was nice and iin good condition. Pace of play was horrible

Winter Gem!
To play in Dec is a dream, but to play a course in great condition in all areas is unheard of. This was second time I have played the course and the first time my playing partner played it. Absolute must play! Look forward to the next time

Solid Hilly Course
Hudson Hills is an excellent challenge with an outstanding layout. Many severe elevation changes and difficult greens. Grass is tightly manicured leading to professional like conditions though too many divots and unraked traps. Overall, a must play course if looking for a hilly challenge.

Course in great shape not the restrooms
Facility has declined since no longer a Billy Casper. The restroom was disgusting with trash on the floor and the trash an overflowing.

November play....Bit slow on play as expected with leaves on course and balls a bit difficult to find. Course in excellent shape. Beautiful foliage views on a gorgeous 65° day on Nov 10th.

A very real golf course
This is not your average golf course. It’s an extremely difficult track, with PGA style greens and terrain challenges galore. Huge elevation changes and several blind shots. I’ve played 3 different courses at St. Andrew’s in Scotland, The Crete Golf Club on the Island of Crete, and I lived 8 minutes from Bethpage State Park for 30 years, where I played the Black Course at least 100 times. The key to playing a course like these is to not get Macho about it. Don’t determine what tees you should play by how many yards there are. This course is challenging from any tee box, so play it according to what level of player you think you are, and take shots you feel comfortable with. That being said, you won’t find a better test of golf anywhere than this course, and the grounds are always in good shape. Beautiful Mountain View’s, a friendly staff, and a good clubhouse facility for lunch. To summarize, I LOVE IT !
