Excellent course on a sunny day
This is the first time I played and the course is very well maintained . All the facilities including the golf cart were top in condition. The only feedback is to groom the rough a bit near the fairways as the grass is longer and especially if it veers off the course and was difficult to find the balls even on PAR3 if it goes a little off course .
Great winter golf
Friendly club shop staff, lovely course and spectacular views from some greens and tees.
Mountain Golf
Prepare yourself for the chance of clouds on arrival which can blanket the course, our the off was 9:30am however it cleared by completely by hole 2.
The course has a preferred lie however we were not told this initially, that would have been helpful as the grass can be quite thick finding a ball quite arduous, hence the club rule in play.
The course itself has a good flow with enough signs and makers, some traversing into the public road is needed onto hole 2 however the street is not that busy. Greens are good, a couple may be totally obliterated by duck presents but ducklings are cute. No other birds spotted at all.
The site adjoins to what seems like a leisure centre and gym for the local community, the parking lot is large.
I would play here again, would have to think about the ball coloured used, pink apparently not so good. Bright yellow might be the go.
Value for Money
It wasn’t crowded; players are respectful. The greens are looked after and the views are breathtaking.
Will definitely comeback and play again.
