Sanctuary Lakes is a contrived resort in Melbourne's outer West.Late on a cool Wintery Saturday arvo it was very quiet & a joy to play.Fairways ,bunkers & greens were all in great shape.It's a pretty flat track with the feature holes being 16 & 18 where the lake comes into play.Plenty of birdlife too:)
Disappointed
Visiting from the US. Range looked run down and third world slumish. We were over charged but got that money back when figured it out after playing. But when we came back we had to wait because nobody was in the pro shop, and customers were waiting. Hire (rental) clubs were awful. Driver was bashed in Set was incomplete and half of them were women’s clubs. The kid who brought them out to us apologized for them. They made us share one set. Course was not in good shape with bumpy greens. Not the experience I had hoped for while golfing in Australia.
SANCTUARY LAKES IS AMAZING
I will definitely be back at sanctuary lakes!! The Course is amazing it couldn’t have been in better condition! The club house was great with friendly staff and awesome customer service from the golf shop and bar staff. Would highly recommend playing here!
Sanctuary Lakes
Looks as though they have dropped the ball on this course. Was very very dry and the greens were in terrible condition. Not much to offer on food after nine.
