Bayview Golf Club

Nice course, but perhaps overrated. It was my first time playing there and the wait times were almost 10-15 minutes each hole the back nine with group in front of us playing 5 golfers and the group behind us 6 golfers ( we skipped this group at the first hole). There was no martial around either at the start or throughout the front nine. We only saw a martial at the back nine 16th hole. Otherwise a beautiful course and well designed w some challenging doglegs. I would go back and Hope the wait times improve.

Booked a hot deal for 1.50pm on a Sunday, wish we didn’t…

The course was lovely, seems to be holding up quite well with the recent rain but the pace of play was atrocious. 1hr 45 mins to complete 4 holes, we only made it through 10 holes before the sun disappeared and that took 3hrs 10 mins.

Such a shame as it was our first time playing here, unfortunately worse than a twilight rate at other courses.

Completed 12 holes in 4 hours... Wouldn't rent carts out to non-members as it was still damp from the week of rain, but still charged full rate, even though there was no chance of getting through 18 holes without carts. Looks like they also had interclub champs on in the morning, which always destroys the pace of play for the rest of the day.

Have played Bayview a few times before and it's been OK pace, but yesterday was criminal.

Becoming one of my favourite courses in Northern Beaches.

Course is really well maintained and the holes offer mixture of challenging T Shots (playing the Blues), in particular the spectacularly fun 7th hole, and very fast greens.

Beautiful course that’s well taken care of. It was a very busy day. We had a group behind us that kept hitting at us. We asked them to stop but they continued to do so. We had to call the pro shop and get them involved. They seemed to work it out. Alll that being said I would definitely play there again.

Course was in terrific condition. Fast greens and challenging hazards. Definitely keen to play it again soon.

5-6 holes are up and down steep hills, the rest of the course is flat. Pace of play was just fine, we got round in four hours.

Mix of holes, front 9 harder than the back, when more shorter par 4s kick in.

Facilities looked good, the course was in good condition. Just before we went to tee off the group in front told us there tee time was 2 minutes before ours. We spoke to the pro shop who advised it was a bigger group and they slipped in an extra group onto their tee times. So every hole for the afternoon we were doubled up at every tee box and were waiting around all afternoon. We went to speak with the pro shop at the turn to try get a refund for the back 9 he was not helpful, accomodating or interested in the slow round. The even refused sending out someone to check on pace of play and to try move people on. All in all what should have been an enjoyable day on the course ended up taking just shy of 5 and a half hours and not wanting to go back.

Definitely one of the best I have played, enough distance and multiple terrance experience. The bunker is THE best I have seen, soft white sand. Not much to complain about. Just hope it could take care of some certain spots near the greens that has little grass left.

Good layout, not long but big slope, the course is not in best condition because of wet. Worth to the money

Very pleased to see this course on the Northern Beaches having tee times available on GolfNow. Course was in excellent condition especially with all the recent rain.

The course is currently in great condition and first time playing it was really surprised at how good the course was. Will definitely be back
