A beautiful, picturesque fun place to play
I normally play at Royal Park GC so was keen to play here
I found the greens challenging even though they are small.
It’s a 9 hole course with different tee off areas if you play 18,
It is a great place to play, a Hidden gem of a course, wide gateways some easy slopes so all can get around fairly easy
I think I’ve found a new home
1st time at Strathallan
This was the first time my son and I played at Strathallan course. Staff & other players were very friendly. We loved the course layout & were impressed with the course condition. We will definitely recommend Strathallan to others. Can’t wait to come back.
Player management
Had to start at the 4th to avoid following an 8 ball. 8 males in carts allowed to play together. They were noisy,. music and yelling at each other. Whooping at shots they played., thankfully starting at the 4th meant minimal contact. I believe it shouldn't have been allowed. I did see them at one point driving over a tee multiple times as they searched for a ball.......
Good course for a social game.
I was a bit disappointed with the lack of signage & direction from green to tee, as there is work being carried out on parts of the course. Generally speaking, I think it is a decent practice course, but a pity they don’t have enough area for a couple of par 5’s.
Broken course
The course is under serious repair, temporary tees and closed fairways leads to an even smaller course that is very confusing.
I wouldn't recommend until it is fixed properly. Much better value options within the area.
Bad condition January 20th
Lots of course maintenance, 2 holes shortened from par 4 to 3. Hitting off mats for tee boxes on at least two holes. I was playing solo l, asked to join two others, they declined. Was behind a 3 ball on the second tee box, they did not offer me through but instead told me to play multiple balls. 9 hole course and I could see two 5 balls on course. Average age 65+ of golfers on course, no problem with that but shouldn't be playing 5 balls and should let faster players through accordingly. Greens in good condition on the plus side.
Great local 9 hole golf course.
Pleased with the parcourse it has some great holes
The parcourse is currently undergoing renovations to some fairways but once completed will be fantastic.
Staff were helpful and members were happy to answer any questions.
Well, done all
I will be back.
Strathallan
Great little golf course hidden away in the suburbs. Fairways in great condition and greens fast. Also importantly icy cold stubbies available after the round.
Friendly staff
Went solo on a Thursday afternoon. Staff were really friendly and one of the ground staff even took my buggy back when it broke. Only gripe would be the course works, which they've managed pretty well, but hopefully that will mean a better course of my next visit!!
