Challenging Course
This course layout is a little tricky. It was my first time playing there and I was not sure where to hit the ball off the tee on a number of holes. We played the Gold tees which were 6700 yards and a slope of 134. The fairways were in excellent shape. It was like hitting off velvet. The greens were in great shape for this time of year. I would definitely recommend this course for anyone wanting to test their skills.
Very nice course. Challenging but fun.
Very nice course in very good condition. Excellent variety of holes, very nice practice facilities, friendly staff. Really enjoyed my round even though I didn't score very well. Definitely need some local knowledge to get around smoothly.Wish I lived closer because this place would certainly be in my regular rotation.
love the zoyja (sp) fairways and tee boxes
loved this course. just a little far, but a great one for good golfers
THIS IS AN OUTSTANDING GOLF COURSE.
GREAT DESIGN, GREENS ARE IN GREAT SHAPE.
THE SCENERY IS PLEASING AND THE COURSE IS VERY CHALLENGING. I WILL BE RETURNING TO THIS COURSE.
Gourse is very challenging
The course is maintained well, and the tee boxes effectively change the varying ability levels...I am definitely going to play there more and recommend to friends...
This course is great for anyone looking to be challenged.
The course is awesome. The driving range is free and has a well kept putting green as well as chipping green. The first 4 holes on the front 9 are very important to score on before a golfer heads into 5-8. 5-8 are tighter and longer than most holes on any other course. The reason for this is the narrow tree line as well as thick and heavy, tall, natural rough that's basically impossible to find any mis-hit shot. The back 9 is much easier than the front 9 but still provides a challenge to a players accuracy as well as distance. The only down fall for the course is other player courtesy. Many greens are left with unfixed divots as well as improperly fixed divots. Other than that, the greens are true with a medium-fast putt pace. The course is well kept from the tees to the greens. The grass is very green and lush. Great place to play.
Great course with a challenging layout. Especially holes five through eight.
Great layout that is very challenging. There was two people in our group and we were stuck behind a group of five. Need to have a marshal on the course. Great course and great value.
Greens pretty slow and rough
Course in pretty rough shape, Native grass totally out of hand and has some holes invisible because weeds so high. Lots of burnt out areas everywhere.
Very nice course; a nice mixture of hard and easy holes.
It was a hot day, so the free bottled water and cold towels were much appreciated.
This was a great course and in wonderful shape for summer. I really enjoyed the round of golf.
Wonderful course. Great shape. Good challenge. The layout of the holes was interesting and yet there was always a place to bail out. Even the extreme dog legs. We played from the blues so the distances encouraged using the driver on most holes but you had to be accurate. The clubhouse was beautiful and the staff were very courteous. I would make sure that the address and location indicate that the clubhouse is on 305th street because the address listed is on a named street so we got lost trying to find the place. A sign off of 71st street would be helpful for those of us from out of town who don't play the course all that often. But I would return now that I know how to find the place. There was also good pacing of the tee times.
Great Course
I was very impressed with the course. I have played more than a dozen courses in the state but none as nice as this!
Love this course
One of my favorite courses in the area. Staff is always super friendly and constantly taking steps to improve the condition of the course. Courses have their work cut out for them these days with golfers who have no respect for the courses they play and this staff does an outstanding job. I always look forward to a round here and would likely join the club if I lived closer.
Nice course. Well kept on the fairways and greens. Loved all the water which will come into play on most holes.
Enjoyed the challenges of the course. Must keep in the ball in play or otherwise it is gone. Three things I can see that need some improvement. Not enough watering cans on the course, didn't see a refreshment cart and a marshal on the course would be nice as too many people stop too long to look for their balls when they are off the fairway.
The last one could be resolved by either having that marshal or cutting down the rough to help speed up play.
Great course and friendly staff
One of the best in Tulsa area! Would highly recommend to others.
Great course but not enough parking!
One must be able to drive accurately and play smart on a lot of the holes. Other holes require not only accuracy but length on drives. Be ready to take an unplayable lie and/or lost ball. Lots of water hazards and rough to deal with. Overall a challenging and well maintained course!
Great course
Best public course in the Tulsa area. Challenging course, but very rewarding. Definitely worth playing.
Fairways are very nice, and the greens were smooth and true. Nice course
First time players should seriously consider buying the yardage book. We were guessing where to hit a lot of our shots. Nicely maintained course with a good layout. Didn't notice the slope rating, but it seemed to be more difficult than most other area courses.
great time
the course is in great condition. the greens are in good condition except for around the fringe. other than that great condition. challenging course but not overly hard. the course is kind of out of the way but worth the drive
Emerald Falls is a course for advanced players of accuracy.
As the review summary states, this is a course, currently maintained, for players that are accurate in their shot selection. The management staff needs to emphasize to every player stepping onto a tee box to utilize the tee box of their handicap. The rough is cut too high and too close to the cart paths, very little distance, if any, between primary and secondary rough. The scorecard could use explanation of recommendations for landing areas of some of the holes, and tee box markers could be better defined of colors. Also, a plaque on the tee boxes and fairways would help the "occasional" player with obstacles, obstructions and distances.
The greens rolled true and faster than other Tulsa courses. Tee boxes we played from had been used extensively and had uneven stances.
Good course. I'll certainly be back.
Nice course. Generally open with plenty of room off the box, but tighter on 5 through 9, so be prepared when you head to the west side of the road. Was in real nice condition and well cared for. Lots of fun and very playable for any skill level.
