Very Pleasant Outer Suburbs Course
With the Dandenong ranges in background, the very lovely Eastwood Golf Club provides the golfer a challenging and pleasant experience through undulating territory.
The fairways were in fantastic (and can be quite tightly bordered by trees), lush condition and the greens were smooth and fast, despite their softness.
My favourite holes were the short par 5 13th which is reachable in two with a great drive. Then the uphill par 5 16th is also a challenge with its uphill approach. The driveable 18th hole is also a fun hole.
The course does feature quite a few slopes, and the greens can be quite subtle, so knowledge on where to hit your approaches and putts is at a premium.
Friendly staff in bar and pro shop. Really enjoyed it.
