About
Colts Neck Golf Club is one of central New Jersey's most popular courses. The diverse course offers everything from Scottish-style bunkers to sparkling lakes. Tall golden fescue rough borders the fairways and the greens are large and undulating. The course is seemingly short at only 6,236 yards but it shouldn't be taken lightly. It's much more challenging than it appears. The layout finishes with two of its toughest holes. The 17th has a tough green fiercely guarded by out-of-bounds and the course saved the most difficult hole for last. This par 3 will test even the most seasoned golfers. In addition to the golf course, Colts Neck also has a 25-station driving range that stays open late. It's a great spot for getting in some practice after work.

nice layout challenging par 3s
played course before from white tees played from tips and scored better
Great conditions. Very few leaves.
The course did a great job picking up the leaves. Tee to green conditions were great.
Great course but no info of airation.
I know the course is fun to play and usually good condition. When I booked the tee time online, there was no sign/alert for AIRATION. but it was bumpy all greens of 18 holes.
I invited 2 friends from Long Island, NY, tried to show a nice course around my area but they are a bit dissappointed with the greens.
If I knew the condition, I would not have selected the course.
But I always enjoy there.
Not pristine,but well maintained always
Although a rather short course it has its challenging holes.
Other than a few poor tee boxes the course is always well kept.
The traps are always raked and perfect.The greens are always
true ond roll out above a 10 on the stemp meter.
The staff is friendly,however it is semi private and the PGA pro
is NOT golf now friendly. The course is over priced when not using golf now, $100+. I only play it when i find the "hot deal".
The pro needs to embrace and treat non members with a little
respect. This would serve him well as it has caused him a bad
rep. as i have spoken to many golfers that feel the same.
That being said the course is awsome and worth a go!

Great for a quick run with some nice holes - very convienent
well groomed, challanging course
This is the second time I have played this course and I was not dissapointed. The carts have GPS units which help your play. I would go out of my way to play this course because of its beauty and ambiance.
Course offers a variety of challenges & is usually in very good condition.
Played there several times this season as I usually do on my way to the shore or while down there.
