Overbooked
The course is short. No need for a driver for most holes. The course is overbooked. Got in 9 holes on Sunday start time12 pm tee time. Finished on 9 holes at 3:08 pm.
Pro shop, grounds, restaurant Al are wonderful. Love Gamblers!

First time there.
Was very pleased with the course layout and in extremely good condition.
Wouldn't hesitate to return.
Good shape for just a couple weeks after aeration.
Can't complain. Course was empty for the 1044 time until we caught up to a 2some somehow. Honestly it was a perfect day so I have no grifes about the day. I've played here a bunch and its usually spongey after a day of rain - we had 2 days of rain and the course wasnt muddy.
Only thing is that they didn't cut the greens because of the aeration treatment. But honestly it was still better than I've seen the course at peak season lol.
I paid 50 to ride. Id pay 40 next time....30 to walk.

Played here for 2nd time this year. Have played here several times about 15 years ago when I lived in central jersey. In fact, this course has a special memory for me since it was the first time I broke 100 in 1994. Now, my goal is to break 80 every time I tee it up. Shot 81 today with an opening double bogey on hole #1. (My highest score on any hole of the day). There is a nice small range but having only 20 minutes to check in and gear up, having No warm-up definitely was the reason.
Now course conditions. Fairways and rough were very wet, was cart path only. Greens were in decent condition, being recently aerated. Fun and not very tough layout. Definitely recommend this course.

Gambler Ridge
Course had few holes being aerated, and used temporary greens. Other than that, course was fine. Price was low due to these conditions, which is appreciated. Staff there is always friendly and accommodating. Layout is nice, some challenging holes but mostly forgiving. Fun course to play.

I like this course. Greens were decent. Some dried up spots on the fairways. Friendly accommodatiijg staff. Good pace of play. Worth the hot deal
