Great Hot Deal
Used my golnow account to maximize the rate discount. Made it worthwhile going on the hot deal and using the discounts available to me. Always nice there, only thing to improve was to clean the carts, they were pretty dirty. Simple fix between usage!
Well conditioned, but still issues with pace of play
First time playing this season and conditions were very good, but still have issues with their pace of play and inability to fix it. As usual did not start on time as carts were not available. Waited on many tee boxes as pace was slow, mainly because of a group 3 spots ahead that I think was a family of 5 in three carts, which was not the only time I saw groups of 5 or more that day. Pace was so bad, that the two-some playing with us bailed after 15 holes and I and the other single played the final holes to finish at 5 hours, which would not have happened if we remained as a foursome for those last 3 holes. Again, course was in great shape, but need to improve that pace of play.
Not a good experience
Started late as usual, due to continued running out of carts. This has been an issue for 2 years...get some more carts, and make it 10 minute tee times instead of 8. It was a 5+ hour round. The greens were rock hard, no approach shots with wedges held. A lot of weeds on the course.
Neglected
Course has a fun layout. No yardage markers, not one! No ball washers, no water. Staff is indifferent at best. Used to play here regularly, stopped a couple of years ago. I'm in no rush to get back.
My first 98
The course was perfect. One foursome in front of, and one behind but we seemed to all play at the same pace. It was very relaxing.
My tee time was 11:58 and we finished up at 3:15. ( would have finished sooner by one of our four likes playing under trees)
Course
Course has improved since last time I played. There are no markers on the course and no Ranger checking speed of play.
Fun Course To Play
We have only played here a few times but always look for a deal. When we get one, we jump on it. Love to play Cream Ridge, but it's far enough away from home that we can't play too often. Greens are in great shape. Tee boxes are in great shape. Even with the huge rains this week, course was dry and playable. Staff is always VERY friendly. Keep it up Cream Ridge. You do it right!!
One stop shopping
Going to Cream Ridge is great, very relaxing atmosphere. The course has a good layout. You can hit some balls before your round. Then go to the restaurant afterwards. Everything‘s in one spot.
Challenging layout.
Nice course very challenging layout which I enjoyed playing. The fairways were somewhat dry. They need better maintenance on the course itself tons of divots. Would play again, but it definitely needs more water maintenance.
A must play
Course was in good condition. Staff was friendly. I recommend play this course and stoping in for so good food.
Cream Ridge Round
Staff are very nice. Course was in good condition but getting firm. If rain doesn't come often, course will be very dry. Little pricey at $68.
Great public course
I took my son golfing for the first time. This is a good course to get him acclimated to the game - fairly open with enough challenges to focus on his accuracy.
