Just ok
Greens were in good shape. Fairways were in good shape. Don’t miss the fairway because if you’re 5-10 yards off in th rough, you may be on hard pan. The exterior portions of the rough are in bad shape between hard pan bare areas to lots of clover.
Poor Pace/Lack of Control
The course itself is interesting with great greens, fairways and tee box layouts. The rough is not well maintained and is a bit of mixed bag of weeds, grass and native grass. The course has no pace control and the round took 4.5 hours. I think there are better options out there for the daily fee golfer.
Good Overall
Pace of play was good. There was a bottleneck at hole 16. Besides that the 3 of us didn’t wait much. It took us almost exactly 4 hours to finish a round. We played at 3 on a Friday and paid 47$. Great value
Hanover Golf
This course is always a pleasure to play. It seems to be always busy , but the wait times are not that bad considering some places around this area
Staff is friendly and they do have a bar for those so inclined while playing lol
Carts can use an upgrade but they’re typical for NJ
Fun day
Course is in great condition this year .. I didn’t play that well only complaint I had ..
we were playing with two other gentlemen the one guy kept standing around the whole when we were trying to putt . I told the guy three times please back away from the whole he was half drinki and smoked up. He finally got it… after I had to say, mark your ball and get the F out of the way👍🏼😳
Round with Buddies
Course was busy but it did not affect spacing for tee times and pace of play. We got a beer coolers and had ourself a day. Will be playing again soon.
Been a bit.
Haven't played since April last year. Great course, I find it more challenging than others in the area. Always in great shape and price is nice.
Great value for money. If people would fix their divots it would be great.
Fair
The course has been in great shape since the last time we played it. Today the greens were fast 2, 9, and 18 greens punished you with above the hole putts due to 13 mph winds. No. 2 especially punishing, I had an uphill chip. The ball almost stopped 2 inches above the hole but the wind had other plans. I ended up with a 15ft putt back up the hill. I missed this putt 1 inch left hole high, it rolled back to my feet. But overall, 3 holes dont make a golf course, I was really pleased with course.
Good Condition
Course was in good condition for early Spring -
Tee boxes, fairways, greens recovering nicely from aeration
Pace of play was good until the last three holes.
Beautiful day
Tee boxes, fairway, and greens beautiful only one problem. We had a threesome ahead of us. We were twosome they were doing some kind of video or one guy was training that other people ridiculous we actually went back and played a couple holes from the 150 we estimated we
spent 35 minutes waiting behind them on 18th took them 16 minutes to play ridiculous
In good shape
Greens were punched a couple ow weeks prior. Everything else was in good shape. Certainly nothing to complain about
