Gambler Ridge Golf Club

This is a fun little course that’s close to my home. Pace of play is usually ok . Golfers please learn how to replace your divots and repair your ball marks . Also it’s ok to not be the best golfers but please please keep pace . 6hrs for a round because of lack of etiquette is not ok .

Beautiful weather I was playing as a single Joined up with two Asian gentlemen and another gentleman Asian gentleman were so polite it was ridiculous laugh out loud but true I kept score on myself and I just happened to take score of the other gentleman at the end of the round I asked the gentleman what he had he said 78 I had him down at 89 why do people Lied to themselves No wonder no one wants to gamble on the course Course Greens are back in good shape people have to replace ball marks beautiful aerated greens coming back nicely and people are starting not to Fix the ballmarks drives me crazy ! I just figured it out if you’re giving yourself six footers for par to keep your score low it doesn’t matter !!!! stay safe my friend

Course was a great value and fun. Enjoyed playing with the young USGA players readiying for their Tournament on Sunday…the ones I played with were excellent! All in all, a great day out.

This was a decent course. Staff was great, booked that morning and Golf now directions sent me to some one's house and not the course. So I was about 5 minutes late and they were able get me paired and right out. Pace of play was a little slow but ranger did best to get things moving. Tee boxes need work as many are mostly dirt. Greens have a lot of hills and valleys so you would have to play a couple of times to get where you want to be on approach. I would come back.

Green is very poor and tee box needs to rnovate.

Grasses need to cu around green and tee box needs more green grasses.

4.5 hours to play same old story greens are beat up from people not fixing Ballmarks Pro shop was organized they had a tournament going out up At 1 o’clock On the front nine we were on the 11th hole when tournament started perfect timing Stay safe my friend

The course had a good layout. It wasn't long but not too short for me. Greens were well kept and rolling nice. A little out of the way but worth the drive and the value.

Always have a good time We enjoy the course we make the best of it never in a rush played in three hours and 15 minutes 3 some Stay safe my friends

From tee box to greens the course is in very good condition. Cane out at about 1:00pm and moved along at a comfortable pace. The only negative was that the rough needed cutting. But that made for a bigger challenge.

Got to course and had family emergency. Did not play.

Played here today very excited until I got here. Pro shop the absolute rudest man I ever met. The Marshall for the front nine is literally riding down side of fairway while your teeing off no golf edict or respect … avid player at golden pheasant go there staff and course absolutely a dream compared to this

Beautiful day.. Tboxes we’re full of potholes. Greens were chewed up totally bumpy. Fairways were fine considering all the rain lately. For end of summer with so much rain lately course conditions like that I can deal with.

BUT. . .

What I can’t deal with is lazy staff. (i.e the starter ) who has no interest in any type of customer service skills/concern for the paying customers of the golf course he works at.

Where should I begin :

1. I played as a single. As I checked in the starter took my ticket , “ Go ahead”. That’s it. No pairing up w 2 in front or 2 behind me. Didn’t seem to care one bit. A 4some went out a 2some behind them. Me a single then a 2 behind me. The 1st 2some went out then I’m standing at the 1st tee waiting and the next 2 we’re sitting there next to me. Not a word from the starter. I invited the to pair up so they wouldn’t have to wait. The 4some and 2some in front all young guys all playing the blues. Not one of them should be playing from there. 20 td 1st shots on every hole from just about all on each hole. 3-4 hole gap in front of them.

At the turn, me and the 2 guys I was paired w / ( real cool guys btw) mentioned how slow these guys were and there was 3-4 holes open in front of them to same starter and he said ,

“It’s a beautiful day, if you don’t have a flight to catch, what’s the difference ???” No effort whatsoever not even a call on his radio to get someone else to get them moving. ( plenty of other staff around )

Then after the 5 hr rd when I finally finished and returned my cart same Starter sarcastically In his best sarcastic voice, “ Did you have a good round???”

Me, “ NOT AFTER 5 FREAKIN HOURS!!!!”

Safe to say me and my other 2 guys have played our last round here for a while.

Spend your money elsewhere. on a course where the staff actually cares about its customers.

WISH I HAD PACKED A LUNCH!!!
