Tam O'Shanter Golf Club

This course was in very good shape. Greens rolled true,fairways nice and plush, Tee boxes very well maintained. The staff that we encountered were very nice and helpful. What was nice on this day was that we didn't wait on any hole and we were not pushed from behind either. I thoroughly enjoyed this round as there was no aggravating factors other my own game. The sad part about this round was that the starter told me that they will be bulldozing the course to make way for 26 luxury homes starting in March. So if you want to play a really nice course,you got to do it soon. I will be back there before that happens.

This course has gone downhill since the last time I played two years ago. Course was in ok condition except for the fact that the lawn mowers would just turn their machine off in the middle of the fairway and hide behind it. The paths for the entire course were absolutely horrendous. The halfway house was closed and there were no places to buy water bottles (per the starter).

Definitely suggest playing this course before it gets closed down to the public! The course is in great condition for being “closed” and one can see just how beautiful this course once was (even though it’s as close to beautiful as it can be now)!

Get out and play it as soon as you can!

Course has deteriorated since I played about a month ago. Greens are beaten up; ball marks not repaired by golfers....really? I repaired 2 or 3 every hole and there were plenty more to fix; No water stations on the course; no ball washers on the course; Staff is friendly though. I guess doing the best they can with limited resources.

Like the course very much but we had a bunch of idiots teeing off 2 balls each on numerous holes. I left after 4 hours and the 14th hole.

Maybe it was an aberration

But very overpriced

No rangers

No drink cart

Certainly worth playing, overall course is in excellent shape, look carefully and you notice the subtle details that’s the closing is coming.

Back in the day this was a great beautiful club.

Now it is run-down and just trying to squeeze every last nickel out of the public before the course is no more.

There are ZERO facilities...

The half/way house has hotdogs...big deal.

Its over grown... not maintained and the starters treat you like they are doing you a favor.

It is a 45/per golfer round at best.

I was upset the entire time they charged $110

Golf course is very nice and especialy the Green is very fast and difficult (I like it).

Overall, the Golf course itself is great, but, many things need for golfer, proshop and Grill room.

I will paly again.

They need to add some kind of pro shop

gloves ,tees, balls ,etc

They need to improve the food cart more water ,food selection and ice,Always have it full not with a few old drinks in a dry cooler .Golfers will spend the money if the stuff is good and cold.

Improve the snack shot at the turn better food selection

fix the carts they rattle loudly as the course cart paths have been in bad condition

Overall it is a good course ,good pace of play and in good condition.

But for 105 plus tax it needs to golfer friendly improvements.
