Great course
Very nice course. Great layout, nice variety, challenging but not impossible. Beautiful scenery. Thoroughly enjoyable. A few cart paths could use a little work and a few greens have sod patches which do not really effect anything. Course is in great shape. Get it while you can folks they are probably closing in end of October.
Beat up in a few spots
Beat up on a few spots no clubhouse I c it’s in a makeover? A little overpriced

Traps could be more consistent and greens should be rolled. But overall good course and enjoyable to play.
This is a must play
There are a lot of people saying that this course isnt worth the price. I’m my opinion it is. As you should already know this will be the last time you can play this former $15k a year country club course that is now open to the public. Yes the building and grounds are out of a zombie movie Because it is abandoned. The course itself is very well laid out and the greens and fairways were in very nice condition. I think it is a must play

Slow greens, others then that the course was in mint condition
What a shame
Its a shame this course will soon make way to 3 acre home plots. If you have the chance to play it this year I would. Challenging dog legs and water holes.
Great round (in four hours).
Course is in great shape. No standing water after heavy rain the day before. Great layout. Not difficult. Has water and placed bunkers. Flat greens except for #18 which is heavenly sloped back to front.
For 80 bucks it’s a steal. If u play a friends private course the guest fee is $80+. I’ll be playing again before the winter closure.

Course shows some sign of wear but carts are good, staff is great and overall a fun course to play.

First time playing Tam O Shanter
The course was in good condition, but not great. It was enjoyable playing it.
Great Layout/ Too Expensive
The course has a great layout, but the course conditions are no where near what they were when it was a private club. The greens fee cost is way too high for the current condition of the course. Main reason I’ve played the course 3 times is because it is easy to get a tee time for the time I need and the pace of play is great.
