Fun course

Fun course. A handful of tee boxes were in crappy condition. Greens, while in great shape, were pretty slow. They should be cut lower. Two greens had some pretty. Big patches . Fairways were in. Nice shape. I really enjoyed the layout. We Teed off mid day They starter said he would have carts for us. When it came time for us to tee up, no carts were available. We waited 25 min until they were Maude available. Start felt bad and gave us $40 credit to thank us for our patience. Was ok with us. By the time we teed off the group in from was on the 4th hold so we were smooth sailing all afternoon. Round took 4:10. No amenities other than a small snack shack at the turn. Other than that, the rest of the property is in disrepair. This former private club is now a public course until the end of the season when it will be leveled for development.

Country club open to the public

I live near this club but never played until today because for a few months it is open to the public. The course is well laid out, not too long and thoroughly enjoyable. The only problem is we waited at every hole. They allow too many foursomes and there is no ranger moving people along. There was no water on the course but we brought it with us. The halfway house only sells hotdogs and turkey sandwiches. The fees are high but it is a very nice course in good shape.

Tax on fee

The fee was $105 but they said there is a tax on fee. Came out to $112. Asked what kind of tax they said just tax. Couldn't explain what tax is. Never seen collecting tax on fee.

My two buddies and I basically had the course to ourselves. Course layout is amazing, couple of patchy greens, overall great track and a lot of fun.
