Todd Creek Golf Club

The course was in great shape. Greens were smooth and speedy which was OK. Wide fairways for the most part, but don't miss them as the native is a challenge. If you miss these fairways, you should be penalized! Some of the pin placements were bit much, top of a crown,s 3-4 paces from the edge on a slope, on steep slopes, etc. Great driving range, with excellent targets...although it is a bit narrow at the far end, so I imagine they lose a fair amount of balls! Plays long from the blue tees ~6500 yards...several 425 - 480 yard par 4's, which requires you to play every club in your bag, a huge plus. Can't imagine the Black or Gold tees

My biggest complaints weren't the 80+ well-placed sand traps, but there were no rakes and no sand/hard sand in the traps! Very little drinking water on the course and only 2 port-a-potties (I think) on all 18 holes. Normally that would be an issue, but with ZERO trees on the course and houses all around, it made it a challenge to find relief!

We only saw the beverage cart once on hole 4. The starter Jeff(?) was great, very informative as this was our first time at the course. He took the time to explain the setup of the course and the nuances of the greens. You could tell he liked his job.

Definitely would play there again, and would have rated it higher, but it just fell short on the course amenities.

Pace of play was way too slow. It was not managed well. Never saw a Marshall. Pop was 3 holes behind

This was my second time playing here and like I said in the title it’s a good course but it needs some help. The sand was hard and was more like concrete than sand. The greens rolled very fast and pins were in very tough spots. The staff was very friendly and helpful I think they were the brightest part of my visit.

course in great shape, golf shop people were very nice, my friend who i was playing with got a hole in one. everyone was so nice and congratulatory to her.

we had not been there in a few years due to the management difficulties.

things seem much better, people not as tense.

the dining room staff need a little more instruction on customer service. an easy fix.

This would be a Great Golf Course if they slowed the green down just a bit. I am a 7 handi golfer and I took 3 other people for Father's day. The greens were not bad for me but the average golfer would and in my case did have a very hard time with them. All 3 said they would not golf there again. The other thing is the beverage cart was not very well supplied, she came around several times but did not have items that we wanted.

Great course, cart girl showed up 4 times! Met two great people and the weather was perfect!

Very nice course and staff. Course could use more bathrooms and. Water for those hot days.

There was no water on the course or a beverage cart on a very hot Sunday.

The course was a better value when they provided free range balls, that amenity is now gone and the price went up. There are too many courses equal to or better than this course with a much better value.

Took nearly 5 hours to play 18 holes! Never saw a ranger once! Have played here in the past and never had this problem. Two foursomes behind us either quit early on the back nine or skipped holes to get in front on the slow group holding things us. Very frustrating!

This course was great. Staff was very friendly and informative......except with one detail. The check in process was smooth, staff informed us of the course layout including pin placement, hazzards, type of course and everything we thought we needed to know. Started out cart path only because of a storm the night before, no problem. Around hole 4 we got word from the ranger that no longer cart path only which was great. The first hole after this we were on the left rough, about 50-60 yards from the green and hit our shots. Took a 90 degree turn to the cart path, cart shutdown about 15 yards from the cart path. We had to push the rest of the way. And yes, it's hard to push a cart when the wheels are almost locked. Finished the hole and called the club house. We were informed that if you get too close to the greens your cart would shut off. Completely get it, so how is the course marked for this? Stake with red top that you can't go past. Not a problem but would have been good to know. Looked back at the hole and the stake was about 100 yards out which is a little much I think, still would have been good to know. 2 holes later we were driving along side of what we thought they called native grass, turns out we were on the native grass. Cart shutdown again. When I think of different cuts I think of height of grass. We were in the same height of grass, but yet it was the native grass so we had to push the cart again back towards the fairway. We did start to pay close attention to the gps and it does alert you if you are "out of bounds" with the cart but doesn't make it obviously if your not paying attention, like when looking for a ball. My dad taught me golf etiquette at a very young age and he worked as a ranger at a course for many years. I respect the course. Never in my 30 years of playing have I seen this or felt embarrassed like this. When someone tells the starter/club house they've never played the course please let them know about the cart shut off. Great course, just a thought.

Excellent practice facilities to use before your round. Nice short game area.

I found the 6500 Blue tees at Todd Creek more difficult than the 6500 yard tees at my home course, especially the par 4's that played long for me. The starter recommend playing one tee set shorter based on typical yardage but I wasn't smart enough to listen. There are no trees on the course, which affected my distance perception. Several holes require shots to carry water or hazard.

Fairways and greens were in excellent condition (May 2021). Nice views of the mountains. Although the course winds through new housing construction it still had a good, open feel.

New GPS geofence needs adjustment. It is way too sensitive or restricting. Too many times we were returning to the cart path and the cart stopped a few feet from the path and required us to put the cart in reverse and back away from the path as much as 15 yards before regaining forward control. There are no physical "no cart" signs, so you are guessing where the virtual barriers are. It was very frustrating.

Pay more for a mediocre experience? The greens are scalped and rock hard. Play was slow with no ranger in site. This was one of our top 5 in Denver, but has fallen many slots. Sad to see.

Course is in great shape. Lots of construction activities with new home builds on the front nine.. however not too much of a bother. Always meet great, nice, and friendly people on Todd Creek.
