Todd Creek Golf Club

Todd Creek provides a great experience and challenging course. I’ll be back for another round.

While playing the back nine, a marshal drove up to us and offensively accused us of being slow and that there were numerous holes open ahead of us and continued to just drive away. He then followed us for a number of holes trying to intimidate us into picking up the pace of play. Bad attitude and disrespectful of paying customers. We did have two players riding and two walkers put our pace of play was less that a normal time requested by your course. We are all legitimate 9-12 handicap players and work in various capacities at a golf course...so we are sensitive to pace of play as well as customer relations.

Also, the greens were very unforgiving. No matter how an approach shot was delivered, it would very rarely stay on the green. Even well placed shots to the front edge of the green would role off.

Finally, no cart person on the course and the outside window was closed. All around a very average at best experience.

This course is set in a retirement community that is still under development. It is just an open field with no real views. All the construction vehicles, equipment and dirt piles were totally distracting. It didn't help that we got paired with members who didn't know (or follow) golf etiquette (walking and standing in your line, playing out of turn as in hitting while you are set to play, etc.). I'm all about playing ready golf, but this was more like oblivious golf.

The course itself is quite challenging, which I don't mind, but there is no fringe to speak of around many of the greens which means you almost always had very tight lies you have to play pitch/chip shots from. As others have noted, the greens are challenging. I would say they often border on unfair. With long second shots in the greens simply would not hold.

They do have a nice practice facility.

Todd Creek is a challenging course with good length and super fast greens. Bunkers need some help as they are like concrete pits. Outside of that the course is very enjoyable. Pace of play was great and most of the staff is friendly. First week for the new Pro and we had a big unfriendly at checkin. Did not see a beverage cart the whole day but brought my own water. So all good. If you play in CO bring your sunscreen and some water. I will play this course again and recommend it to my friends. Kind of a hidden gem right now.

Not the first time we played the course. It was in great shape . green were fast but fai . Would highly recommend to the mid to lower handicaps . We will play again soon .

Very enjoyable golf course when wind is not blowing. Fairways are hard to miss and penal if you do. Greens were on the mend from aerification but in pretty good shape. Pins were somewhat tricky, would love to play a toughest pin competition on those greens, it could be brutal. Our foursome thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon. The last 4 holes are some of the greatest finishing holes on muni courses in the northern Denver area.

This was truly an enjoyable course! It had wonderful views, many different opportunities, and was so well laid out! Loved it!

In Denver for a few days of golf and fly fishing. Tried Todd Creek on a recommendation from a buddy. Nice course. Conditions were good, love all the bluegrass and bentgrass. Green complexes were very challenging. Wide open fairways on most holes. Bunkers were playable. Pretty straightforward course with some head scratcher greens and pins.

Nice course and condition was very good. Good value for the quality of the course. Only complaints are A) it’s fairly long and played slow both days. B) The beverage cart was rarely seen. Played two days back to back and saw the cart once each day.

Great course. Fun layout. Challenging, but fairly strait forward. Loved it. There was a large group of high school kids playing, which slowed the pace, but getting the next generation of golfers was worth a slower round!

Pace of play really slow, 5 hour round that we couldn’t finish before dark. Greens need work.

Course layout was fun. Wide fairways made tee shots easy. Greens however were too fast for a public course. Pretty sure the greens keeper thought the US open was being played there. A lot of the pin positions were on knolls on the green so if you hit it past the hole 18 inches it would roll off sometimes off the green. Made for a long round as the group ahead of me and members of my group had multiple 4 and 5 putt greens. On the bright side I did ace the 3ed hole from 167 with a 7 iron

This course is long, but if you pull your Driver, it’s not a decision filled with fear. The fairways are wide and the rough not too penalizing. The greens were in great condition and they are challenging.

We played from the tips and really enjoyed the round. The clubhouse is also one of the best in the area.

We were very disappointed that there wasn’t any beverage or food service on the course. I’d advise my golfers at check in to stock up Before starting a golf round . Because of covid there isn’t any coolers on the course and it was 88 degrees .

We very much enjoyed our round here, they were super accommodating to our group of 10. The course was in awesome shape and the greens were some of the fastest and most challenging we've played in a while. Wish we were closer so we could go back and play more often.

Ranger let a group out in front of us that was 10 minutes late for their tee time. We were not ale to finish because the pace was so slow

This continues a series of mystifying interactions with golf now. I went to the website to check rates. I did not knowingly book a tee time. When a time showed up in my inbox, having previously had unsatisfactory experiences with golf now, I called the course and cancelled the t time and decided to forget about the four or Five dollar golf now fee and MoveOn.

It would be nice to hear from someone on this as that’s the problem.
